I think I will definitely give this one a look!

wondroushippo5703d ago

I think I will join you in that, even if my PC is horrible.

CrAppleton5703d ago

Anything with the name LEGO has my attention!

wondroushippo5703d ago

Even the horrible Lego Batman game? ugh... do not want!

roblef5703d ago

Great preview. Seems like it might be worth a purchase.

CrAppleton5703d ago

I'm betting it will be worth every penny!

crunchychocobo5703d ago

I'm not sure if I would like playing a Lego game that isn't based on another popular franchise, but this makes me want to give it a go, at least for a free trial.

bgrundman5703d ago

The Lego name in and of itself makes it compelling to me.

CrAppleton5703d ago

Seriously.. I don't think that you need to have another popular franchise to hold Lego up.. Lego holds its own

Davedough5703d ago

I've been burnt out on MMOs lately but this one actually seems interesting.

wondroushippo5703d ago

There is just something about the blank slate that Legos provide that make it applicable to just about every kind of game.

starven5703d ago

I'm planning on trying this...and I don't jive on MMO's.

SammMoney5703d ago (Edited 5703d ago )

I jumped in and played it after getting my beta code while at PAX, and its not half bad. I find it to be rather fun. My only problem with the game was the beta glitches, which of course I understand the game is still in beta.

bgrundman5703d ago

I'm sure most of those have probably been smoothed out buy now. At least I hope so...

CrAppleton5703d ago

I would imagine that everything has been taken care of.. but these days.. who knows.. still it's freaking LEGO!!

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

badz14966d ago

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee78d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

TheColbertinator112d ago

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

rlow1112d ago

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
