SG: Yesterday the new dashboard beta launched for those of us who were lucky enough to get in on it. And by those of us, I mean pretty much anyone who signed up. Because really, they let ME in… So they couldn’t have been that picky.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

The name "Hewson" carries a special weight for anyone who grew up during the golden age of British computing. As the son of Andrew Hewson—the man behind legendary publisher Hewson Consultants—Rob Hewson didn't just grow up playing video games; he learned to spell his name from their title screens. However, Rob didn't just rest on his family's 8-bit laurels. From leading major LEGO franchises at TT Games to tackling the high-stakes world of technical porting at Huey Games, Rob has carved out a unique path in an ever-evolving industry. In this candid interview Rob to discussed the burden and beauty of a family legacy, the technical "scar tissue" left by the ambitious Hydrophobia, and why porting a masterpiece like Inscryption to consoles is far more than a simple copy-paste job.
To celebrate Tomb Raider: Legend's 20th anniversary, the official channels have shared an early in-development gameplay demo.
I Din't get in the Beta.
When signing up for the beta it was very explicit in stating that voice/communication services would be limited to only beta members. Perhaps a lot of people simply didn't read. :-p
Speaking of the beta, has anyone noticed that the voice chat (between other beta members) was substantially improved? For me, the quality was better than my phone.
It doesn't look like something special. Speed is the same as the old one while connected to Live and most of the users out there are complaining how new look seems too ordinary. Oh and also, you can't use your avatar awards. Yeah I'm serious. They only show up as a text and as an empty box with question mark inside it on the Avatar Editing section which they never mentioned while accepting people into the preview program.
are easily impressed
Haha.
You guys didn't read it.
By "it rendered him speechless", he means he's not allowed to talk about it.
