IGN: Exploring the New Neverwinter

Neverwinter's back, this time courtesy of Star Trek Online and Champions Online developer Cryptic Studios. If you've played BioWare's Dungeon & Dragons-based Neverwinter Nights and Obsidian's sequel and expansions, it sounds like this next game to bear the name will be quite a bit different.

Sounds like it could be good, maybe a step away from the traditional MMORPG is what Cryptic needs.

Not a fan of Cryptic at all but the design model they are following with this game sounds extremely intriguing. I've been waiting for a game like this for years, hopefully Cryptic doesn't mess it up. But one of their main problems is not creating enough content, particularly at end game, but having users be able to create content for the game and specifically basing the game around constantly adding new content could fix this issue. Even if they don't live up to their word and make new content every month, users most likely will, so there will always be stuff to do which is cool. I'll definitely keep an eye out for this.

It's for that online game, correct? I always wanted to see the drows home from Drizzt's books, I've read those years ago, but I never could fully imagine it from text alone. Looks a bit bright compared to what I remember how it was described, but I'm guessing that's for gameplay reasons.
