EA's Create screenshots, coverart and trailer

"Create uses families' imaginations to develop new ways to play together that are both fun and challenging," says Harvey Elliott, general manager at developer EA Bright Light. "We wanted to design a game where the entire family can explore, decorate, and solve challenges where no solution is wrong and the only limit is the imagination."

Don't know about this. I like the idea that it utilities PS Move, but c'mon, LBP was all over it. Not judging, but do you think this title will bring something new that can't be created in LBP2?

ForceCSW5787d ago

This games is a ripoff of one of the greatest games this generation and it will get buried by the LBP2 when it comes out. Bad form EA.

RIPSKATEDESTROY5787d ago

as i mentioned, its similar to LBP2 in every way. i dont see the difference. but when one franchise works theres a 100 new ones following it

LittleBigPlanet meets The Incredible Machine, a 90's puzzle game.

NecrumSlavery5787d ago

This looks horrible. It is a bunch of random crap, there is no fluidity to it. LBP is a universe where everyting fits well, this is just a bunch of animated gif files pasted and copied to a flat lifeless background, on more bad textures.

dam ea even has the nerve to bring it out in november along with lbp2 lol

Godmars2905787d ago

Unless there's other footage of something more similar to Joe Danger and Trails HD, that's what this game copies.

lochdoun5787d ago

Joe Danger copies Trials HD.

*fixed

I agree Godmars, I don't really see why this is being closely compared to LittleBigPlanet as opposed to many other games out there that are more close in gameplay (at least from what's been shown). Actually, this reminds me of an older PC game series called "The Incredible Machine", but with some aspects of Joe Danger and the "collectibles" portion of LBP added in. That's my opinion so far at least. But that said, I'm intrigued so far, especially because I liked all those games. I'm looking forward to seeing more of where they will take this.

When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!

cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

isarai_lee100d ago

It's always so bizarre when studios announce something super early in development under the suggestion of forming the game to player feedback, and then they push against all feedback heading straight for the cliff while everyone is warning them along the way

US Lawmakers Urge Review Of EA Sale

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers

lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6

Wait,

The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.

NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.

No. There were elections and some of the scum were replaced.

Different elections. Different scum. Same results.

i know its a long shot, but i hope this gets shot down.

EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
