Considering Kinect games will be built from the ground up, they can't just use the current Wii/Move devs so they need to expand.

As Kinect grows I can see a lot of other 3rd party devs doing the same.

Did any of you actually read the article? Try that next time

This is could be news and may or may not be about Kinect. Sony's push on buttons needed may be Sony's way of telling MS in a nice way not to go the path they have chosen. It would be cool if MS released an analog controller (that fit in one had like the Wii analog)which allowed you to face different directions to walk and had a trigger button on it.

No where in the body of the article or in any of the associated quotes does it say that the studio is being used for Kinect and Kinect alone. In fact, it mentions that they're migrating the people who made Wii games under the 'EA Play' to the new facility.

Most likely it will be used for ALL forms of current gen motion tech.

Jesus, can't "journalists" even write a proper title anymore? "EA expands motion control facility" would be more appropriate. But I guess you have to get hits, by making it seem like some Kinect/ EA coup. Ridiculous.

[Has] - keyword. That we both agree on.

Now that I've gotten your hit, continue to read my article filled with fanciful assumptions and a hearty dose of story-telling.

'Emphasis' is on bullshit titles being made for hits.

You just destroyed 4Chan

I was also reading this article, wondering what on earth it had to do with Kinect.

The answer is nothing.

change the title

oldjadedgamer5830d ago

Summary of Article:

EA will move it's Salt Lake team to a new, bigger building in the same area.

It's bigger so they can design really good games.

Rare also has a new studio, one that is bigger than the last.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
