
The first person shooter has come a long way since the early days of Wolfenstein 3-D and Doom. Today's FPS's are more comparable to a big budget action film. The new generation of console's and high end PC's has been kind to the FPS genre for sure.
However, with an overabundance of FPS's on the market today it can be hard to stand out. These days it seems that gamers have seen it and played it all before.
