Sony has a baseball license. EA wants a baseball license. Sony and EA are friends. This could also clear up SCE San Diego for other projects. I'm not a big EA fan, but Sony might be considering profiting from this.

Exclusive licenses are bad, they turn games into a roster update for 60usd deal. Here is a superb bidding system for you guys, I'm giving away for free (can be applied to anything, still allowing exclusive licenses, that will maximize the profit, you heard it here folks.... (they may already be doing this somewhere, lol))

Let's say three companies want the license. They all give their bid, and the bid(s) whose total(s) are the most wins, where the license is given for the lowest bid that won for all parties. Much needed example:

Company a: 2, b: 4, c:6 -> Company b and c wins licenses, for 4 units of money. (Totaling 8, more than 6)

Company a: 3, b: 6, c: 14 -> Company c wins the exclusive license, however, company b could easily raise to 8 to also win the license, and the total would be 16)

Company a: 5, b: 7, c: 8 -> All companies win the license at a fee of 5 (if above minimum required bid)

There you go.. Thank me later :P
