Sega is developing a hardcore Kinect game that is likely to be released late next year, CVG can reveal.

Two-day event includes exclusive reveals, trailers and playable games on show floor.

CEO Haruki Satomi said Sega will "take these lessons into account for future initiatives"

Rovio “found it difficult to advance its initially planned business development,” says Sega.
Sega? Hardcore?
never knew those two words could be legally used in the same sentence.
Interesting to watch...
edit:
"My guess is when we're at E3 next year, more of the features of Kinect will be in use by developers. I think you'll find more clever and sophisticated applications then. It is a reasonably complicated piece of kit, therefore it's going to take us longer to use all of those aspects in a game. We're not going to be able to develop something [for the hardcore] in under a year, which is frankly what we've had"
they do have a point though, a big reason why we aren't seeing more Hardcore Kinect games (if they would even work) is because the devs have only had a year and are still understanding and finding new experiences to make with the device, it will be interesting to see how Kinect evolves over time but for now, casual is all it's got sadly.
...wishful thinking.....im just hoping i can get it to work whilst im sitting down.....
