3Ds wins * finish him!!

The PSP is five years old. The 3DS looks freakin amazing and it's in 3D!

One would think it should look better as it's newer tech. But who knows. Can't tell from the tiny screenshots.

They're on par...excpept 3DS is 3D...which makes it more appealing to me at the moment.

Look very close.

3DS is better though, of course because it's 3D, which requires more processing power. And I'm sure it could up the graphical quality of it's titles, rather significantly if it weren't outputing them in 3D, too.

Sony will need to release another handheld soon if they want to keep selling units. The games coming up for the PSP right now are really great, but a next gen PSP doesn't mean development has to stop for current, or that the games can't also be played and sold to next gen psp owners.

Let's face it, the 3DS is going to be a solid piece of hardware. Finally, a Nintendo Handheld that doesn't have crappy graphics.

3DS: 3D and no stupid ass glasses and no expensive extra hardware needed, better price, better control, better price, better games, more games. Easy choice for me.

Lets see. The current DSi destroyed the PSP in sales and content despite inferior graphics. What do you think the 3DS is going to do.

There's too many PSP's on the market already...makes no sense to flood the market with PSP's especially since they've already invested in PSPGO, and regardless of Nintendo coming out with 3DS.

Either way...great showing for Sony...they took E3 all the way....PSN+ for 3months for free?....sweet!

Why are the PSP screens, in this comparison, smaller?

The PSP has both a higher rez screen (480x272) than the 3DS main screen, if its 400x240, and its physically larger as well, even on the smaller PSP Go (3.8" as opposed to 3.5").

Ridge Racer looks much better on the PSP than the 3DS. MGS3 looks all jagged up and blocky whereas on the PSP MGS:PW looks very smooth.

So begins a new era of graphical handheld contenders. Prepare for the war of the PSP and 3DS. Fanboys....begin!

I think they use similar graphics and will share some games. Like Atlus's Persona title. I wonder if the 3DS Devil Survival title will be worth a rebuy?

Im happy they didnt make the shots fullscreen, portable games look horrible when enlarged.

They both look good, 3DS has a graphical advantage... until the PSP2 is announced.

I'm very impressed with Nintendo. The 3DS has really good graphics. I can't wait to see the PSP2's graphics.

Well, they look even right now. BUT launch titles never show what a system is capable of. The 3DS will definitely look better than the PSP in time, but by then the PSP2 will come out. We're never going to be able to get a really good comparison of the two companies portables

i personally dont mind glasses i actually prefer them it creates the whole 3d effect

It's very close, though I'm leaning toward the PSP (GoW: GoS). Sometimes, the PSP clearly has better graphics; sometimes, the 3DS has blatantly better graphics. The real selling point of the 3DS is its 3D abilities.

Seeing as the 3DS has to render the visuals two times, it has signifigantly more processing power then the PSP.

Look at metal gear solid on go nintendo its 10 times psp i mean that ridge racer screen must be a mear tech demo that has under estimated the machine look at other games the lighting ect blows the psp out of the water full stop grow up its 3d aswell thats better than HD everyone has been pecking wii owners about its not HD though well guess what we can say its not 3D though hah hah
