Borderlands: Beyond Platinum

PerezStart: I rarely get platinum trophies considering the fact that I am often bored with a game before I get close to platinum. With that said, it’s pretty rare that I find a game worth playing beyond platinum, but Borderlands has become my exception. I didn’t start playing Borderlands until last month and regret not picking it up at launch. I’ve done almost everything you can do with the game, including getting the platinum trophy for it

Borderlands and Red Dead Redemption are the best games to play online with friends this generation... according to me and my friends. lol

BannedForNineYears5817d ago

Honestly, Borderlands is really bad playing alone.
The co-op is the only thing that saved it.
-_-

GodsHand5816d ago

Aint that the truth, I was playing the game solo, for a while, then decided to play online co-op, and was like this it the way you need to play it.

I truly agree... Plat it and still Playing. It is addictive... playing multy and awaiting DLC....

Marceles5817d ago

The first DLC was good, the arena one though...meh, wish I didn't buy that. The game was really fun to platinum though

MysticStrummer5817d ago

I agree that the arena one is the least of the three but I enjoyed it also.

uh i want to BUY THIS GAME
but its cut in Germany -.-
i could import from uk but i couldnt buy the addons then..
what should i do?

Polluted5817d ago (Edited 5817d ago )

Good idea with the UK account, but can he pay for things on the UK store with a German credit card or PSN points?

Edit: Oh and for what it's worht the game is still very much worth playing without the add-ons. Zombie Island and General KNoxx are way awesome, but it's still great without them.

Greek God5816d ago

thx for your advise guys
well i could make uk psn account
but i want all my purchased stuff on 1 id
whatever uncut ftw

jagstatboy5817d ago

I too didn't discover Borderlands until long after it was released. Now, it easily ranks in my top 5 all-time favorite games. If there ever is a Borderlands 2, I will be picking it up on launch day.

despair5817d ago

it really is addictive..had it since launch and still play it every so often.

ever since XIII came out I really loved the cell shaded artstyle in games. I probably wouldn't have tried it if it didn't have such a style like that

"we don’t really need to break out the contribution from the film because while it was economically positive"

Come on, there was nothing positive about it, it literally bled money...not really economically.

Daeloki552d ago

No there was not. The same way there was no Dragon Ball live action movie, nor an Avatar the Last Airbender live action movie :)

Polish a turd to make a what?!

DefenderOfDoom2553d ago (Edited 553d ago )

So the movie cost 155 million to produce and another 30 million dollars to promote . Borderlands movie brought in around 31 million worldwide . So basically, the Borderlands movie was a 154 million commercial for Borderlands video game franchise.
