The lag and disconnect issues was getting a little excessive...

I forget how well the AI was in BF2. I hope they can pull it off well enough so it doesn't become boring, nor too excessively *I shot him with a sub machine gun from the island in one hit!*. If the single player experience of BC2 is anything to go by, I hope DICE can pull something better off for Onslaught.

All DLC should turn free after certain amount of time ESPECIALLY map packs. I liked the halo formula on XBL first pay then when they release more the old become free/standard and new are pay etc. Splitting the community is never any fun the ppl who bought the maps cant enjoy them because if they have friends who didnt they cant play and vice versa.

....but I got rid of BF:BC2 a couple months ago, because the online was crap, and there's no standard DM mode so I can play sniper matches against my friends, like every other FPS allows.

Not strange that some segments of the players around the world are noticing lag, when alot of players are using 0,5 to 2,0 mbit/s lines which is so out of date 2010. 10 mbit/s shouls be the lowest possible that players would be aloud to play with these days. The technology has gone so far and in some countries a majority of the gamers are still using shity lines whining about lag. Anything below 10 mbit/s is made for old folks paying thier bills and not gamers.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
