Seeing as how they ruined Sonic in 3D I am really anxious to find out how they ruined Sonic in 2D.

Maybe this game will sh ow them what "REAL" games were about. If the game is AS good as the originals.

Personally games these days don't even touch the games of the 90's, especially sonic 2 and mario world.

They do get it right ocassionally tho - see resi 4, mario galaxy, tatsunoko vs capcom, halo, just cause 2 etc etc

Not enough exclusives on the HD twins is a big problem, and GFA 4 was BORING!

I did genuinely think sonic adventure 1 was great though.

Sega need to get serious about sonic, instead of producing sub standard games with him in.

I fear sonic 4 will fall into the same pit of mediocrity that the other games did.

I wouldn't give up on 3D Sonic just yet. What is the point of the race if you walk away 3 feet from the finish line. Would you just quit if you are on the final lap, or will you perfect your run and get it right.

All this doom and gloom is very one-sided, and hardly tells the whole story as to "Why" Sega is in this position, and how much progress Sega has made since then.
