Ubisoft should ask themselves whether it was worth it or not. I mean they spent alot of money, building servers, maintaining them & as far as I know the offline server crack was available over a month ago. So all they did was delay the inevitable. People are going to pirate games, deal with it. Instead pissing over customers who actually bought your games, why not provide some incentives so that people don't pirate it.

Isn't this old news? I thought this was cracked weeks ago.

Dear Ubi,
spend more of your time making a game that we can enjoy, which will help build a community and we will buy more of your games.
Encasing your average games in DRM doesn't make it more desirable.
Focus on the games not the DRM.

Look at VALVe, sure they have DRM, but it doesn't punish the paying user, and VALVe have brought out features that make it WORTH buying their game instead of pirating it

wonder if the cracking method would hold true for splinter cell conviction. If so that may take a much shorter time to do.

I don't support piracy but what Ubisoft is doing with the DRM needs to be stopped so this one is good news for all legit users also.

Waiting the Cracked Version for Splinter Cell Conviction, few days for the release.

It feels GREAT to hear this. DRM is an insult to real and legit customers and Ubisoft's is among the worst cases. Hopefully this can teach Ubi to start respecting its buyers and releasing them without crazy and offesive always-online like DRMs.

The sad fact right now is that current owners of the legit copies are still bound by Ubi's DRM while pirates are enjoying a game without such problems.

1. Some ppl pirated games probably will buy games later.
2. Some ppl pirated games will never guy games.
3. Legit ppl will buy games.

For UBI's new DRM, then it's simple:

1. None ppl pirated games will buy games.
2. Most legit ppl will not buy games.

I tried the crack. It doesn't work.
Still required an internet connection, and got a white screen crash w/ animus.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
