I actually was really impressed with Gears because one of the main characters (Dom) is Mexican. I'm Mexican, and, uh, we aren't usually portrayed in a good light in video games, lol. I mean, these days for political correctness almost every game has a black man. Asians appear from time to time, too (i.e. Rainbow Six Vegas). Since hispanics are quickly becoming the largest minority in the United States, it's nice to have a video game with a heroic Mexican who isn't a drug dealer. On top of that, Dom doesn't even have a hillariously overdone accent. I think Epic deserves a pat on the back for Dom.

this was not intentional, hollywood is far more racist and no one accuses them of this. Black characters in the movies always get killed first, they are always scary and cowardly, and hollywood rarely uses beautiful black female actresses, they only use the fat, loud stereotypical black actresses.
