I enjoyed both Rush games, I did think the action was sometimes too fast to see what was coming up in terms of hazards though, which meant replaying the same stage a bunch of times, other than that they were enjoyable, good special stages, 3D sections and bosses for the most part.

yes, but in this case the 3ds is the successor to the ds not just a remodel with added features like the previous ones. I still played games on my gba sp and passed on the ds until the ds lite came out.
I think a majority of people will hold out for the inevitable remodel of 3ds with a lower price point, just as they did with the ds to ds lite.
im quite sure this is just a re-model. GAME UK said so on they're website. The successor to a DS won't be announced on paper like this one was. 3DS = Nintendo DS in 3d, that's it.
The ds is hands the best handheld console ever made. I just cant wait to see what got next. One thing i hoped is that moved away from carts but seem to not have.
