Where PS3 fails, fall back on PS2 to make an argument.

You know let's get some things straight. The only reason why the 360 has sold 11 milion as of now is because Microsoft dropped your precious Xbox last gen too early. That's why many of you dipsh!ts migrated to the 360 because you had now where else to go (it's not likey for you xbots to go to another system). And you say Microsoft gives you "choice".

Many PS2 owner (me included) are still enjoying their system because it's stil standing strong, but over 1 or 2 years when the system becomes obsolete and the PS3 is at an affordable price you'll see the jump. And you Xbots will have all migrated to the 360 by that time of course and still be outnumbered by the PS3 then. It's even more pathetic that after 1,5 year the Xbox only sold 11 milion. While the PS3 stands at almost 4 milion (and the system is just out for 7 months and only 3 months here in Europe!).

The 360 "succes" as you call it, came from the failure of the Xbox. Giving Microsoft an early start, but even with that early start they overlooked the hardware department and all gave you crap hardware.

Don't be surprised when over a few years Xbox 360 consoles will instead of giving you the "Ring of Death" give you the "Explode of Annihilation" after too many repairs and games that the hardware can't handel. You say to PS3 owners that they don't have games to play(even though that some good ones have already released with many more to come THIS year), you can only play 10 minutes before your 360 craps out on you. So what's better..........I think the one that start with P and ends with laystation.

And please don't comment back saying "W-well...uh m-my Xbox is still from launch." Just don't it will only make you look stupid.

its funny you got all those disagrees...but how many articles could you paste and copy with sony exc stating that Nintendo was not even in the same class as sony...(to be fair and balanced...microsoft too.)

it was a microsoft and sony game only...i think all of us hardcores was surprised by the sucess of the Wii.

You're absolutely right, if all three consoles were the same price, the ps3 would sell a lot more. WHY? because of past experiences. The PS1 and PS2 sold over 100 million units each worldwide. I know a lot of people are still waiting for a PS3 price drop. The PS3 will bounce back, it takes time, they are not gonna do it overnight. I say the PS3 will beat all other consoles by January 2009. And looking how there are so many stories involving Sony and its PS3, it just shows that PS3 still creates a buzz.

i think the consumers who buy a wii at least 50%(not we...that we are always reading the news of games) think that the console is the same of ps3 (cus it is nex gen) with best price and nice controllers... and don't realize that the other 2 consoles are much better experience... i think wii will have the same faith of dreamcast

Wii v. PS3 will be a repeat of DS v. PSP. The little guy will win because its gaming concept appeals to a broader audience.

SOny is already loosing money on every console they sell so a price drop may happen EVENTUALLY but i wouldn't hold my breath.. and u picked up SIGMA for i'm guessing PS3 so how would the price drop affect you? u already paid up the arse so even if u get a price drop it will do nothing for u and when the games come i will be convinced.. until then MS and WII will own..

First of all the time it has been out [PS3] is *relevant since the more equally realized system (360) has been out since Autumn '05. The Wii doesn't even figure into that comparison chart Einstein since it would be like comparing an Audemars Piguet with a freaking Casio (same goes for PS3 vs. 360 if you're talking strictly build quality). As far as your opinion, of course everyone is entitled, but I'm not sure if your mommy ever told you this: but just because you believe something doesn't make you right or the end all be all. HA - I don't know what loosing is, but aren't you trying to figure me out? I have more than one PS3 brainiac. I also have more than one room and one shower in my home Mr. Know it All. Besides if SNE's 'loosing" money and offering free online, a bulletproof console, and a pricedrop ~ what kind of company are they and which do you support? If there is a prize to be won for best technological wonder in a console, then perhaps your argument might hold some water. Unfortunately, the only prizes to be won in the console business are sales, profits and market share, so your philosophical take on this issue is really quite misplaced.
