PS3-Sense writes:''There are many secrets of the PlayStation 3 you might don't know. If you still own a PS3 Classic you got the OtherOS function which it makes possible to install Gentoo Linux or Yellow Dog Linux. You can also stream a Media Server from your PC to your PS3 with Windows Media Player or Java PS3 Media Server. With the Java PS3 Media Server you can also watch TV and listen to your favorite radio on the PS3. Not only that is possible, you can also hear ingame-sound through your headset. How this all works, we'll explain these things and plenty more in a special.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

Why did Sony push Shuhei Yoshida out of his role leading PlayStation's first-party games? He'd overseen some huge successes. Well, apparently, he didn't listen.
Yeah I can see that for sure. Shuhei Yoshida should have been in charge not Jim Ryan.
More confirmation that Jim Ryan is the culprit for what has happened to Sony. Hulst needs to go too. What sucks is that a lot of the good top heads at Sony are no longer there. I wish that guys that were forced out prematurely by Dumbo Jimbo like Shuhei and Layden came back.
Makes you wonder if MS even thought about hiring him after Phil and Sarah were leaving. He certainly couldn't make their situation any worse.
All the gamer/consumer lead heads are gone across PS and Xbox. shuhei gone phil's gone (questionable) but gone. The future of gaming is somewhat uncertain across the board.
The YDL tutorials are qood stuff.// Nice post;
If you have an 60GB PS3 and able to play most of the PS2 games, get a memory card adapter and backup all your PS2 saves so you can load them on your PS3. Can also be done the opposite way a game saved on the PS3 can be put on a PS2 memory card to continue on your old PS2.
KEEP on typing in your PS3, leaving predictable text on can make regularly occurring sentences easier to type in the future, especially useful with the internet browser.
Turn off the bulletin board, this seems to slow down the system.
To get items in an album, (a neatly organised folder on each relevant section on the XMB) just name the items you want together in EXACTLY the same (character for character) album name, alternatively, if you don't have creative names for the folder, just tap square to get different sorting modes.
PS2 to PC USB controller adapters can be used as spare controllers, minus Sixaxis of course. Test what works and what doesn't in your PS3, it's quite amazing sometimes what you can trick the PS3 to run through a USB port.
PSN demos are multiregion, nearly all PS3 disc games work on any region PS3, HOWEVER, it may be difficult to get add ons through PSN due to the different region store. PSP UMD games are exactly the same.
Special characters?
He changed the system language to "the first Chinese one." (Japanese)
At least have enough respect to call it the first "Asian, oriental or eastern" language. Heck, I'd even prefer it if you called it moon speak.
What's with Americans and Europeans calling everything that isn't roman the roman alphabet and looks slightly eastern "Chinese" anyways?
I know Americans do it the most, but Europeans have been known to do it a quiet a bit too.
