another one bites the dust

I heard about the Mass Effect rumor, now this. I remember 2 months ago, when I was writing down all the great looking games with potential this second half of the year. Somehow if these rumors are true, I know all these good games could not overlap each other. This is all strategy by publishers.

That fall 360 line-up was looking just" TOO GOOD 2 BE TRUE"

I have not been disappointed with delays though, with all the other good games coming out,

a.It gives developers more time to polish.
b.Me to save up and budget(damn x-mas gifts)
c.More time with the special lady.
d.More gaming for me, when I'm buried under snow, in early 2008.

Well if true, this game will be put in the rear view mirror..

This is a smart move for MS, there are many big hitters this year and with Fable 2, Alan Wake, Mass Effect and Too Human coming out next year, this could sell the 360 even more, plus, many people who do get a 360 and Halo 3 will be too busy playing Halo 3 and GTA IV.

THIS IS BULLSH!T microsoft is gonna lose this fall if they keep pushing titles back to 2008. Already a heap of exclusives are coming for ps3, AND killzone 2. They need all the forst party titles they can send out this fall or it's doomed, that's already two possible pushed back to 08, another one and it's over.

Well yea I think it's rather upsetting about the delay. Specially with them wanting this to be a trilogy. So are we going to get the second part on the next run of consoles? Plus as the main dev guy said that no one wants a long game anymore, so this first part can't be that long of a game. I suppose though they (Silicon Knights) put out some great games on the cube so I'll still be eagerly awaiting the day this finally goes gold

@Odion bellow....I'm perfectly content, and highly aware that Killzone may not look like the 05' trailer, but it will still look FAR SUPERIOR to anything that will be available within the lifespan of the 360. You BABOON!!...hahaha

I am beginning to suspect that this game will either:

never be finished

or

does no tlive up to the hype by any shape way or form.

It just has been in development for far to long for me not to suspect anything.

You could say the same about the KillZone 2 game, by why would you. The longer they take, the better you can expect the game to be. Don't you want them to tweak all the bugs out? and make the game, as close as perfect as you can. Since no game is perfect, anyhow.

Don't worry "Rhezin", there is still plenty of games like "zonetrooper5" stated, HALO 3 and GTIV will last till January for some people, as well as other games.

Of course if all of these games would come out, the 360 would be one of the only Console with most 3rd-Party Exclusives this holiday season.

Sony is way behind in "1st-Party" and will catch up by next year, I heard.

Nintendo, well, where is the 3rd-party? Of course Mario and SSB will also keep me busy.

I think there is a lot more games that will keep gamers busy till early 2008. Right now MS just need to ride the Wave.....and Commit/Admit to XBox 360 issues, and the fans will continue to follow, where the games are.

GTAIV, Bioshock, HALO 3, NFS. Not to mention the usual lineup from EA. How much gaming can you stick into one quarter of a year, isn't everyone's only 3 months long? Would you unleash every card in your hand in one year when you've gotta spread it out evenly over the course of at least 5 years? They've got us in mind (as far as great games being available goes), but they've also got profitability in mind as well. Record labels do the same damn thing, n' this is nothing new in the industry. Damn, I could see if we weren't gettin' shyt...

Why would game companies compete with each other when there making a game for the same system thats just dumb? so what if TooHuman release in the same day as Mass effect wouldnt that be good if you guys actually got to have both god you XBox 360 fans are so dumb that you guys would get worried if one of the XBox 360 games were competting against each other when you shouldnt even care about that and get them both you guys are so pathetic in so many levels.

Every silicon knights game in history has been delayed at least once. I saw this coming months ago; its part of their MO. The are artist and you shouldnt rush art in my opinion

I am kinda glad too. I recall when I got Gears and then COD3 the next week. LOL...I didn't open COD3 for litterally 1 month I was so busy enjoying Gears. It felt like wasted money...(ok turns out it kinda was...didnt care for COD3 in the long run) but I am just saying having so many games come out at the same time is tough on consumer.

Now I do hope they try and keep the mix of games good...i.e. shooter, RPG, platformer, free roaming, etc... A mix of good games for the holiday season will make those slipped titles not matter as much imo.

This game is becoming the new Duke Nukem. I don't think it's ever going to be released.

You guys call ps3 the delaystion same goes for all consoles..xbox to the wii...its the industry that just how it is..im buying 20 games this winter to tide me over till next year.

devs are starting to wonder whether the xbox 30% will even be around in a couple of months. ergo, delay the game and wait and see.

Looks like misery does Love Company. This will just come out in 2008 no big deal. This year Halo 3, Bio SHOCK and GTA4 will insure some great gaming.

MS are spreading there games out for 2008, there are already too many games comming out on 360 in 2007. If all games came in 2007, what would be left for 2008? Good move IMO.

360 owners have plenty of games to keep them entain for 2007.

BD,Halo, Bioshock,LO,Eternal Sonata, GTA4 and many many more. Surely thats enough for 2007.

Well I really really want this game but agian, if they make the game better by delaying it then thats OK especially with all the other games out.

I JUST bought Darkness and Overlord and I still need to finish Forza and for that matter I was talking to someone today about a RTS and it got me stoked to finish LOTR:BFME and I still need C&C. Then me and someone else were talking about Gears and got me stoked to replay that again. Plus I still want CoJ and Dirt and I never did get FEAR and Marvel Alliance (the prices should be dropping soon on those). Next month I am getting NCAA and two worlds. If I cant get too human in early august at least I have Bioshock, Blue Dragon and Medal of Honor in late August.... so forth and so on. Would still really like Too Human though.

And, for those saying Too Human has been in production for several years, here's some info to clear things up:

"Too Human was originally in development for the PlayStation as a 5-disc action-adventure game. It was shown at E3 1999.[2] But shortly before its completion Nintendo announced an exclusive partnership with Silicon Knights, and the game was moved to the Nintendo GameCube in 2000. A teaser trailer was shown at SpaceWorld 2000 showing what appeared to be a re-building of the PlayStation game. The game never surfaced though, and the partnership between the two companies was ended. After this, the title was still thought to be in development for the GameCube, but those plans have since been cancelled.

In the May 2005 issue of EGM, Silicon Knights announced a partnership with publisher Microsoft to develop a trilogy revolving around the Too Human universe exclusively for the Xbox 360. The game is being developed using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3."

Just like Kameo, this game saw a few different platforms, as well as publishers. The Too Human game that's coming to the 360, has NOTHING to do with the original title planned for the PS1, very little in common with what was planned for the GC. As it currently stands, Too Human as actually only been in development for about 3 years.

Probably still coming in 2007. Someone at TooHuman.net forums noticed Too Human has been pulled from the coming soon section of the new Xbox.com website. Denis Dyack responded:

"Put no weight into that at all :). I didnt see Mass Effect either.

Too Human is going extremely well - I personally cannot wait till our next blow out. For now our blogs will have to do :)"

Seems like it's coming along as planned.

I paid off Mass Effect and Too Human early in advance and still waiting until these games release!!! If it is true then in August I will stick with Bio-Shock for the mean time.

I'm sorry that my comments as of recent have been nothing but negative, but what in God's name happened to this site? Why are there so many posts by 12 year old Sony fanboys?

I use to be very conservative in what I said, usually referring to fanboys on both side as bad, constantly noting that both sides behaved in the same childish manner.

But I'm almost at the point that I find the 360 posts 100% unreadable because of the idiots constantly posting "xbot" or other such drivel. The PS3 posts, however, have this insane blind optimism that I just can't understand. I really am starting to get all of my news from magazines, which is a shame since I do this for a living and would like to stay on top of the issues that aren't directly related to my studio...

I was a proud owner of all 3 consoles, an adult who saw the strengths and weaknesses in each platform. The drivel I've been forced to read, however, has made me want to dissociate myself with the PS3 fanboys as much as possible and is negatively influencing my opinion of the machine.

Assasins creed, gta 4, halo3, bioshock, call of duty 4, splinter cell, brothers in arms, halflife orange box, madden 08, theres too many good titles to buy, why blow ur load all on christmas when u might not even get noticed. release them next year around jan, feb, march n theyll sell millions. this christmas most ppl will buy 1 or 2 games like halo 3 and gta4, or assasins creed. u release mass effect and too human theyll sell well but not as well as ud want them too

im leaning towards sony due to the 360 failure rate, but ill miss out on my favorite game halo

i guess killzone 2 / gta / res 5 might make up for it

Wait, wasnt the existance of this game "illegal" technically because they used unreal engine files even tho they did not pay the engine fees? And then the company went under so it was never re released?

This game was a free game last year when Microsoft announced the final round of backwards compatibility for Xbox One, this was given free

This game was supposed to be so good but it ended up being a letdown. I know some people liked it but i was so letdown by it and i tried to force myself to like it but it sucked.

Too Human has always been for free on Xbox 360. Microsoft can't sell the game legally because of a Lawsuit, that's why it's available for Free

Loved this game apart from the long death animation I also finished it .

Was a very good game. I remember it was going to be part of a trilogy it even said that on back of box. Wish 2006/07 was back again, best gaming memories ever for me
