NaturalMotion has released a new trailer for Backbreaker.
In the latest video for the American Football sim, the development team discusses the impact of NM's Euphoria engine in the game.
Born out of an Oxford University research project, the Euphoria engine – also seen in GTA IV and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - handles player movement in real time, making calculations based on the body, muscles and central nervous system of the objects involved.

With Football season upon us, TechRaptors Robert Grosso tackles one of the best alternatives to Madden from last generation, Backbreaker.
Michael, Ray, and the best of the worst for the week of October 14th!

There are many sports franchises that are fantastic editions to the world of gaming, deserving both as an edition to their respective gaming field and to video gaming at large. Looks... Sooo... Shiny...
Genius game engine, TFU was epic thanks to this.
Like NM says in the vid, think Euphoria could be quite important for sports games. The days of canned animations are numbered.
Ye gods. A sports game that actually looks impressive.
Madden please take notes
