ANOUTHER XBOX 360 GAME WITH AVERAGE GRAPHICS WHEN WILL YOU LEARN PS3 WINS ON PRICE PAFORMENCE AND MEDIA

JeffGUNZ5956d ago

Those red lines under your words mean you did not spell them right. You should start paying attention to those.

-MD-5955d ago (Edited 5955d ago )

Typical PS3 fan, can't spell to save their life.

"ANOUTHER" "PAFORMENCE" Yeah, I'm glad you aren't a 360 fan because you're just sad.

Pistolero5955d ago

What?...Mass Effect 2 is a huge jump up from Mass Effect and it is just a beautiful game...it even surpasses Uncharted 2 in ways.

didn't they do a comparison last week that showed crazy differences between the two? these shots are sucky

GiantEnemyCrab5956d ago

The differences in visuals and the performance is staggering compared to the first. They literally improved this game in every way possible, except for the dodgy character running animation/physics.

JeffGUNZ5956d ago

Yeah Crab, every aspect of the game has been modified and I find it extremely hard to put the game down!

joydestroy5955d ago

i think they improved the running, actually.
&yup, i can't put that game down.

darthv725955d ago

mass effect 2 is to mass effect what uncharted 2 is to uncharted.

better in more ways than one.

BlackTar1875955d ago

ive only played 3hrs so far but so far

SPOILER ALERT
SPOILER ALERT
SPOILER ALERT

I was pissed when i saw the normandy die i wanted to cry liek taking the enterprise from captain kirk its just not right. I know it sounds lame but ME is a top 5 this gen for me

Bubbles_Kitty_Cat5955d ago (Edited 5955d ago )

BioWare really outdid themselves with Mass Effect 2.

I can't even imagine how awesome the 3rd game will be (especially if it is on a next-gen console).

ryuzu5955d ago

Well my comparison isn't really fair since I played ME1 on 360 and ME2 now on PC but personally I think the graphics are not good enough for a modern RPG of this nature.

Then again, maybe the better performance of my PC on other games just shows up the graphical faults more easily.

But those textures - I just just can't take my eyes off them they're so ugly... I thought I had a some bugs until I compared to some screenies yesterday :/

I don't know, maybe I've played too much other stuff now and 360 games are showing their age too much to be pleasant - I find it difficult to enjoy the Wii for the same reason. But if you're used to it I guess they may seem like good visuals, and for the 360 I suppose they are good visuals.

Anyway, most of today has been MAG day - may be after a break from ME2 for a few days it'll seem better lol.

r.

Pistolero5955d ago

ryuzu...you are really on a crusade, aren't you?...I have seen you post the same biased crap in a whole bunch of articles....Mass Effect 2 is the best looking RPG on any console...period. So what are you comparing it to? In many ways I think it looks better than Uncharted 2....so how much better do you expect it to be?

Mass Effect - N7 DAY 2025

Bioware writes: "Like you, we’ve heard the rumors lately. You’ve made it clear you care deeply about what’s next. So let’s start by setting the record straight: the next Mass Effect game is in development, and EA and BioWare remain committed to telling more stories in this universe."

I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed

Like with Fallout, it's starting to feel studios are using TV / Film adaptations when they have no game info to talk about.

toxic-inferno193d ago

I feel the same way.

I mean, how difficult would it be for them to release SOMETHING of substance? Another short trailer? A couple of proper hints? A short story set during the original trilogy, but focused on fringe characters?

Hopefully they're working so hard on the game that they don't have time. But still, with every passing year and so little to show, the franchise will be slipping further and further from people's minds.

Profchaos193d ago

Yeah agree it's almost a cop out since Dev times are 5 to 10 years just throw out a few seasons instead you get them done in a year

jznrpg193d ago

I still haven’t beat Andromeda. I am waiting for a lull of good games in my backlog

P_Bomb193d ago

So the TV show will take place after the OG trilogy. I wonder which ending they’ll use?

Rebel_Scum193d ago

Should’ve just posted a picture of an Elcor saying “regretfully, we have nothing to share.”

Bro missing companions: Legion, Grunt, Samara/Morinth, Javik, EDI

anast526d ago

Legion, Zaeed, and Jack are my favorites.

RiseNShine526d ago

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

anast526d ago

They lost too much talent.

IAMRealHooman526d ago

some in andromeda are decent, I agree with peebee and Vetra being good companions. Except Liam he's trash tier

anast526d ago

Liam lol I can't stand that dude.

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

DustMan774d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave774d ago (Edited 774d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
