Back in the days of the Amiga, they did a fine racing game called Jaguar XJ220. It had some stuff which I had never seen before like being able to change the soundtrack using a CD Player, varying weather conditions, damage, track editor, etc. Sadly, it got overlooked in favour of the inferior but still pretty good Lotus games.

Tomb Raider Anniversary was made by Crystal Dynamics, and it was horrible. It butchered everything about the the original game.

Yeah I had that, it was a very good racer.

Ever play Rick Dangerous? That was the first Core game I played I think. They've made quite a few I enjoyed though. Chuck Rock was another I liked, most people probably remember it on the Megadrive but it was better on the Amiga.

like chuck rock and bc racers. Jaguar xj220 is one of the first sega cd games and offered a track editor. Thunderhawk was a cool first person helicopter game. Sort of a mix between desert strike and thunderblade.

Tomb raider...never played it so that is why I dont really remember them for that.

Other companies that seemed to have dissappeared are tecnosoft, sunsoft and renovation (wolf team).

Yeah..I knew that Crystal got the gig because of how they handled the previous TB release..

But, I always wanted Tomb Raider Anniversary because they revisited the old levels and supposedly added an updated spin on them.

Havent seen Meta's score but the game seemed to review well in the mags.
