Cho Aniki Zero Announced

WorthPlaying writes, "Cho Aniki Zero gives players the chance to take part in an epic struggle alongside heroes Idaten and Benten as they blast through the muscle-bounded forces of Emperor Balzac II. Cho Aniki Zero brings manliness back to the old-school shoot-em-up genre and, warps it to another dimension of sights and sounds."

I've been wanting to have my mind blown by this game franchise for a long time. A PSP release is perfect. BRING ON THE BROMANCE!

Oh the innuendo continues.

LMAO

This is a game ElementX would go gaga for

No doubt. From these screenshots, Cho Aniki was at its "manliest" in 2D. Still, "man protein" and bosses with giant outies? You gotta give them credit for enthusiasm and sense of humor.

Original-Gamer writes: "Cho Aniki Zero got its start 18 long years ago on the Turbografx 16 console, but despite already being around that long, the series still manages to shock and horrify our Western sensibilities with imagery that would make a social conservative's head either explode or fire a beam of highly concentrated energy. In either case, a game like this would probably be banned if seen on store shelves, so it managed to slip under the mainstream media radar by coming out unceremoniously on PSN."

Review: Cho Aniki Zero - Examiner

There are a number of unique games out there, but there is nothing quite as unique or disturbing as the Cho Aniki series. Featuring a cast of muscle-bound, leaving little to the imagination, mostly nude men, the game traverses through many homoerotic settings and situations. Even with the strange setting and overall premise, Cho Aniki Zero is an old school shooter, but is the retro feel enough to warrant playing through these homoerotic settings and oiled musclemen?

Cho Aniki Zero Review | Just Push Start

"Aksys games has brought another unexpected franchise to us from Japan. Cho Aniki Zero carries some of the most unusual characteristics seen in a shooter so far. The series has been going on for a while in Japan dating back to 1995 and most believed this title would remain there. Now PSP gamers in the US can check out what the series is all about." - Just Push Start
