Terrible move by Sony. I'm a self-proclaimed Sony Fanboy, and this is just absurd. This thing is doomed before it's even released.

So not only is there no UMD conversion program, but now Sony is coming out and saying that not every future release will even be available in the PSN store. Just AWFUL.

Seems like Sony didn't think this all the way through. If you go with the Go, a game you want may not be available for download.

Well i guess i wont be buying the go until they fix this isue or if they release the psp 4000

Why couldn't they just put out psp2 with dual analog , accelometer, a touch screen,

Can you blame Sony for not making it easy to pirate their games, at my local game store they still rent psp games, if there was a conversion method people would just rent and rip.

Ya know...I was very interested in this product until recently. I don't even have a huge library of PSP games (like 5) but it just doesn't make sense. You can buy a 16GB memory stick with the money you save from the difference in price between the PSPgo and the 3000.

It is not like the PSP-3000 is super-bulky...it is quite slim and portable itself. I just don't understand Sony sometimes.

Luckily they are finally getting their act together with the PS3 :)

I have a psp 1000 that works great. Plays all the games fine. Still looks amazing. sony should not have gone all digital until the next gen handheld. which should be the same step up as game boy advance to psp was.

Wasn't there another story on here that said they weren't planning it now, but it could come later on? I don't know if Gamespot got all the facts correct here.

It looks like they WANT to do it, but whoever is being a douchebag about things isn't going to let them. I wonder where the licensing issues are coming from exactly.

It's really too bad – the PSP Go has a lot of strikes against it already.

I'd like to see it do well since it'll benefit UMD PSP owners – hopefully there will be a lot of games that are hard to find on UMD in the 225 they're releasing October 1.

there was a story on n4g a few weeks ago on another playstation system well hear about after psp gos release. Hopefully it will be a good upgrade of the psp 3000 with 16 gb of system memory

they need to do an update so we can play the psp games on the ps3 lol

sony always over promises and does not deliver, year by year ..jack says wait till next year for games, and now UMD no conversion on psp go. when will sony fire this guy! sony went from #1 for two cycles to in the toilet. good job sony, keep disspointing your fans. you lie!
