I think IE is the best......... but I use firefox.

I'm fine with Safari.

i use internet explorer and happy with it, i have firefox and chrome tried them both they are good.

but i feel more comfortable with IE

This article is bullshit on the security warnings. IE8 isn't the only one that does that. Firefox gives warnings for unsafe sites also.

Firefox > IE 8. Noone wants to use IE anymore except for uninformed users.

i use ie8 but only because of the Avant browser . but firefox and chrome are much better than ie .

Firefox is really starting to bug me, its been giving me errors alot lately. as well. T_T everytime I start it up, I get this stupid update, no matter how many times I allow the update and it completes itself its always starts over the next time I start up.

add on top of that its causing youtube to lag and giving me error load messages on twitter and facebook. Its getting old.

How did IE8 get so good at blocking attacks? Simple, most of those attacks are targeted at IE at the first place! It's just too funny. ActiveX is the biggest warm on your system. As long as you have that enabled, you will get infected when you use internet explorer, period!

Whenever I use IE8, all I know is whenever I'm on a china or eastern european website, there's a extremely high chance of being infected using IE8 when I get on there.

This MIGHT have been believable if they didn't make IE8 look drastically more secure. I have a hard time believing that IE8 is that far ahead of Firefox in security, just based on my actual usage. I get more spyware and malware on my system without question using IE8. Its not even a question. I wonder what kind of criteria they used on the test, they can easily inflate numbers like that doing a biased study.

I was a Firefox user from the early days of 0.8 up to the most recent 3.5 release. When Chrome hit the tubes, I instantly went for it and it was like using FF for the first time coming from IE. I loved it. I'm now on Chrome 3 Beta and it's great. I look forward to watching Chrome grow as I did with Firefox.

Since when? I have firefox, with some plugins (Better privacy, Noscript and WOT) and they have the same functionality, so, someone here is trying to misinform us... I noticed that IE spend many resources of the pc, so it's not strange after all!

come on people...read the url. it's a microsoft site. gee i wonder why they say IE8 is the most secure of them all. hmmm. we all know IE is the worse in security.

Maybe it's because I have viruses or spyware (altough I always used protection against those), but I have a really bad problem with Internet Explorer 8. Often I click on links and open new windows and nothing loads at all, even after 20 minutes. So I have to open like 3 new windows just for having one that works. I have not tried another browser, so I don't really know if dropping IE8 would solve the problem.

i don't like IE8, i've got FireFox 3.5 IIRC. the only thing IE 8 does better is it starts up faster, like if i selected FF, and IE, and pressed enter, IE would pop up quicker, but by the time the web page loads, FF pops up, then loads faster than it.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
