why play old games on a new console. I know there are not many excellent x360 games out yet, but i would rather play oblivion any day over any xbox game i own, including the halo games...

Buy a PlayStation if you wan't to play games over and over again, or find a xbox. Keep in mind most people get rid of old stuff and that's what half the video game industry depends on. Move on!, were do people find the time to play games 5 to 10 years old; on top of all the new games and services for them.

I remember when BC was annound by M$ back than, and all the xbugs were all raving about it. Now they are like "Ooh who care BC is noting special is stupid and useless, who need old game" Who need old games? and yet you pay money to DL old games off of Xbox Arcade... LOL sadd I know just saddd... haha

you can just keep your original xbox too. trade in value for the system at this point is hardly worth it. if you care so much, keep the old system. i'm sure EVERYBODY will be playing ps1 launch titles on their $600 system.

there will be some whom wish to relive the day of the past and play some of it again. like GT2 i know i would love to beable to play it again or Marvel vs. Capon, or tekken tag tournament, or FFVII, and many more. Classis game are great for reliving it. If you think only your opion hold the truth for all of the peoples that own the 360, than I wont try to even explain to you of why peoples wish to relive the classis games.

You are only thinking of yourselve and not others. They are might be thoes whom wish not to keep that bucky looking thing laying around there home and there for they gone and sell it, thinking that they could play all of there original games on the 360. Now with the truth came out from the man himself. Bill and his sidekick Moore saying that there would be no point of contiueling the update of B/C. Wow they just came to a conclusion of there own and said "No one care anymore" with out take in any others that think otherwise. You and your friends may tell yourselve that B/C is useless and have no need of it, but that's simply because you're trying to play it off and also a proud support of M$ system. The other side of this story is that not all of 360 owner are loyal to M$ and will speak out about the discontinuse of the B/C coding. You are loyal customer, but when it come from others company you instantly jump off your chair and start criticizing them. You may be lying to yourself to make yourself feel better about the idea and feel less damage by it, but the truth fact with a feeling deep with in yourself wanting to cuss out and scream.... "WHY THE F*** DID M$ SCREW US LIKE THIS AGAIN".

Gaming is a big part of life now days. Live doesn't offer old games. Noboby will be interested when old Sega, Nintendo, or PS1 games when there made available for there respected platforms. How is that not the same? Why have no load times, why have a remote control, why have wireless controllers, why make things easier for the user, why do i have too move my HDTV everytime I want to play an Xbox game, why turn on my console with my controller, why are companies always trying to make things easier for the consumer, and finally how come When M$ screws up on something they say they were going to do it's not that big of a deal? Maybe the reason is that we've become a lazy society and people want thinds done with as little effort a possible.

Even when XBOX girls get screwed, they dont feel it. I just feel bad for any one that Bought an original xbox this year. Or just bought the 360 hoping to also catch up on some great xbox 1 games. Now here you are, screaming BC doesnt matter, I would rather have BC than the rumble feature. At least with BC you get alot of games that are all different and with Rumble, its the same in nearly EVERY game.

BC is like buying a dvd player that also plays VHS tapes.....

so far as i know it`s only the xbox having backward problems ..nintendo and sony are just fine with it.

BC is just a selling point for a new system. It gives fanboys something to do until the good games come out. Fortunately with MS we have oblivion and GRAW and the really awesome looking games Too Human GOW and Mass Effect are not too far away. There is a huge difference in graphics and game play and well just interest. I gave my Xbox to my girl and split my games between her and my friend. After the 360 didn't feel the urge. And the only game from xbox that I would still play is oddworld a strangers wrath and for one game it doesn't matter. Now for those of you that enjoy playing old games on a new system. WHY? You out grow those games like you outgrow the system. Don't buy the new system if you are so happy with the old one.
