
In an age where shooters are all trying to outdo each other's realism, it's refreshing to hear Gearbox's creative director Mikey Neumann tell us that, "realism can eat shit and die." This bolshy mantra is first made apparent in Borderland's new art style. It's gone cel-shaded since we last saw it, making for a flashier, comic-book style vibe. This succeeds at streamlining the focus of the game from a gritty, desolate atmosphere to pure, raw fun.

Come on, there was nothing positive about it, it literally bled money...not really economically.
So the movie cost 155 million to produce and another 30 million dollars to promote . Borderlands movie brought in around 31 million worldwide . So basically, the Borderlands movie was a 154 million commercial for Borderlands video game franchise.
Game looks very interesting. Hope it lives up to the premise
I hope this game doesn't drag on too long, but it certainly looks fun for awhile.
