Sony reckons that World of Warcraft's success will eventually be dwarfed by an MMO that caters to the Facebook crowd.
"At some point someone will dwarf those numbers with a game. If we can get passed some of the barriers that are keeping people from playing with their friends, just because their friends happened to start the game before they did, and maybe started on a different server or whatever, if we can start to get rid of some of those social blocks, I think it can get even better," said EverQuest, lead designer Ryan Barker.

Fans of World of Warcraft now chase a fresh goal. Thanks to a recent tie-up between Fanta and Xbox, gamers can grab special online prizes at no cost.

Trolli has revealed a new line for Warcraft, Diablo, and Forza fans.

20 years of World of Warcraft music is going on tour.
Super cute game, Free Realms. Needs more content, but definitely caters to a diverse audience. It will be interesting indeed when this hits the PS3. Like most of their other services, Sony needs to advertise this - especially the FREE part - to the consumer base.
sony got something up their sleeves then
but i always see nerds play it!!is it any good?

He makes a good point, but I hate to hear game designers imply that games need to get simpler to sell better.
I hate to agree with the person above me, it is very good, heck even awesome, but very very time consuming.
