lmao @ all the xbots who actually thought that this game would be a timed exclusive. It's just like the time they thought the game was totally exclusive then when they lose that they talk about how it's timed exclusive. Now that it's not a timed exclusive they will go on to talk about sales like the usually do when they have no games to play.

I knew the stories that(surprise, surprise) started in Kotaku yesterday ignoring what had already been said looked shady.

Capcom have also assured us that the game will have parity on the consoles as well. Problem with that is, ignoring the woeful effort Capcom put into the PS3 game last time round, the 360 version of LP:EC wasn't anything great either. My copy has frame rate issues when combat heats up onscreen and typically for Capcom games this gen it also has screen tearing at some points.

I still found something to like about the first game though and hope both versions are bug and tech issue free AND the gameplay is sharpened up too-if the stumble, try to get up, stumble mechanic is there again despite the snow receding I'll go barmy with it! LP always had a decent premise and mechs are usually good for a game and co-op could prove excellent from what I've seen/heard so far. However, if the SP is as dogged by tech issues as either of the first game versions then I might just rent this one-they managed to screw up Resi pretty badly, imo, and that culminated with the SP killed by the desire for co-op being all pervading and I hope the same doesn't happen here.

Also Capcom have not figured out how to do decent online MP recently with the RE5 Vs mode being more painful than LP's was for the original! So hopefully they leave it at co-op or do it much, much better-and don't make us pay to unlock stuff the disc ships with either!

Last gen with the Dino Crisis, Onimusha, and DMC series that were only found on the PS brand. But after giving the 360 Lost Planet:EC first, and then DMC4 and RE5 going multiplat, exclusivity didn't exist anymore. Timed exclusivity at best, but we all knew from day one LP2 was gonna be multiplat. And folks don't thrash the game just cuz' the first one wasn't that good. Killzone 1 anyone? Nobody seems to point out that mediocre FPS "Halo Killer", and its sequel is one of the best shooters of 2009 IMO. So please, hush and wait for it to release, THEN talk.
