Destructoid: Tecmo is not known for its shooters, but the company is hoping that Quantum will get to change all that. Quantum is Tecmo's first third-person shooting game, and the alpha build I saw on the E3 showfloor seems to hold quite a bit of promise. Takine cues from Gears of War and Prince of Persia, Quantum should be an interesting game. I say "interesting" a lot in previews. It's difficult to come up with other "cautiously optimistic" words.

Tecmo Koei Europe has today launched the official website for the forthcoming third-person Action game, Quantum Theory. Currently in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Quantum Theory is expected to arrive at European retail this Summer.
E3 is where it's make or break for this game I think. Early alpha stage vids haven't really been impressive but have shown glimmers of potential.
I'm sure well get a much better picture of this game at E3. Hope for gaming sake they can deliver.
I know TKE are planning on pushing it big at E3... they're going to start ramping it up for a late summer launch from then.

Not only has Tecmo Koei revealed the box art design, which appears to be noticeably darker on the PlayStation 3 version than that of the Xbox 360, but also an official release date for the game. Set to arrive across Europe on March 26th 2010, Quantum Theory casts the player as Syd, a warrior fighting against a mysterious black material known as Erosion for the fate of all mankind. At the heart of this decay is the Living Tower, and Syd must journey to the very top in order to stop Erosion, and save humanity from certain extinction.
you might've had a chance with this game if it was still exclusive to ps3. But who the hell wants to play a multiplat crappier version of gears of war. What a bunch of sell outs..NO THANKS!

You know what this means rite??... Tecmo used Higher quality ink for the PS3 cover, which Obviously makes it the more superior version, Duh!

Gameplay looks pretty good. Can definitely see the possibility for some Co-op. Voice acting needs some work, lol.
The game play looks good but I think the graphic and story are going to be lame. But I really hope it turns out really good.

Hmmm, not really keen on the 'techno-organic' look to be honest, but if the gameplay gets good reports I might give it a spin.
