At Microsoft E3 Media Briefing, the company formally lifted the veil on its newest studio, BigPark. This recently acquired company is working on a debut Xbox Live Arcade title by the name of Joy Ride. As you might expect with a name like that, this arcade racer pulls a lot of its inspiration from Mario Kart. It does, however, have a few key differences. The most notable of those differences is the price: Joy Ride is going to be free.

NZGamer writes: "As a kid, how many times did you race around the house in an imaginary car, gripping an imaginary steering wheel in your hands? Some? Lots? I’ll bet a bunch of you still do it to this day, yes?"
Microsoft put out montage trailers of both Joyride and Kinect Sports this morning, showing one woman soundly beating both a small boy and young girl. She really takes them to school.
yea..that will make me rethink buying Kin...
what the heck is MS thinking about these minigames

Get your battle on with these new images.
Pretty cool, if they make more of these avatar games, they could eventually connect them to each other to create sorth of an Avatar open world.
I think it looks good fun and it's free so I don't see the problem with it. It also give the Avatars a bit more use.
