To me they just look like fun. Im looking forward to Kinect as I find I havent time to play full games all the way through. Im looking for some fun 10 minute sessions on these type of party games.
My Girlfriend is really looking forward to joining in too as at the moment females dont seem to have the videogame gene. Kinect they love the look of it and all want one.
I guess its just not aimed at the Hardcore gamers..

So it seems the soccer game doesnt allow movement :| Because that also happens in RL of course..

My opinion on Kinect is try for yourself before judging it.

However, these adverts really do make me cringe with their overblown cheesiness.

As a big fan of Football (English), that football game looked shit!!! And with videos showing kinect's poor body tracking, i bet that game is just kick your feet and the ball goes to the next person, as there is no-way kinect could measures how hard you are kicking the ball and the angle you are doing it in.

Yes you are so right. Its not out till November and you have haters on N4G making out it cant track nothing.
They seem to think.
1. The camera is a dummy camera and dont pick up nothing.
2. The lag is just over 5 seconds.
3. The games are all rubbish even tho they have not played them.
4. The Move is amazing, despite them hating on Nintendo for the last 3 years.
5. Kinect is an Eyetoy rip off, even tho the eyetoy seemed to work fine and was a lot of fun for a lot of people.
6. Kinect does not work properly when you hold a piece of paper in front of it or you hold a Sofa or fridge while playing, theres videos to prove it.

the game controls you!!!! there is a lil bit of lag between the signal the camera sends to your brain and your body actually preforming these moves but cant u see? MS has made a mind control device! soon everyone who tries this will pay 500$ a month for live and will be the controller for the kinect to play its games!

It would be cool if I could ply Joy Ride without Kinect. The game looks pretty good

You guys know that I am by no means a Kinect supporter, but some of ya'll are just really stupid. I see a lot of people talking about the Football game. I don't know any other motion systems that have even tried soccer, and there is only so much you can do with it from that perspective.

Not if sony had kinect as sh1tty like this... I wouldnt buy PS Move if it was crap too....

I'd rather play Kinect Sports and JoyRide than sports champions and that game where you ride downhill in a office chair lmao

Im interested in Kinect as I do think it has alot more to offer as MS are saying but the one game I was not interested in was Joy ride but there has been a few videos showing what it has to offer and I think this game is starting to look like it could be a good game something on the line of Mario Kart but different enough to not fall into the trap sega all star racers and mod nation fell under.

Kinect sports also looks like fun and I think every one who enjoyed wii sports will feel the same way towards Kinect sports.

I know Kinect has been getting alot of stick but in the last two weeks there has started to be a reaction from MS on the issues ect that people have been pointing out and I am looking forward to seeing what can be achieved with the product.
