How many online players does MW2 accommodate? (better be more than 16-18 this time, because 256 IS something new on console FPS's)

I'm not hating on Duty either, I just want FPS's to go through the same scrutiny that KZ2 had to go through simply because it was a PS3 exclusive.

I'm sorry, what did COD 4 REALLY! bring to the table, a poor online a below average singleplayer and that's about it, while games since and before then has done much more. So I ask how many of you will judge COD 6 on what it actually is or instread will you just say Buu.... buu The online can be good when it works. I know that screen does look pretty nice, but it's still average. Co-op, well maybe 4 but Resistance 2 did 8 heck Resistance 1 did 4 offline, Competitive we'll have to see but I'm far more optimistic about Bad company 2 because I've actually seen in-game footage instead of some lose things designed to create hype and nothing else. I will judge this when it comes out but we can't ignore this time errors, like error 33, host ended game, connection failed. Look dedicated servers aren't that hard and we all know they'll make enough money. Nor is making a better party system, or improving the variation a bit more. I don't want a better graphics version of COD 4 with a tacked on singleplayer with multiple generic characters. I want an online that works. I want a decent singleplayer with less of the 'those people =bad so kill.' and I want you to support your games a bit better. No dualshock for PS3 COD 4, how hard can that be. No Trophies for COD 4 considering how popular it was I'd expect them to try considering the fact they had nothing to do since COD 4 and it's LAME maps. You honestly think they spent every day working on COD6?

Oh and don't try changing the name either to mordernwarfare 2, COD is a yearly product like sports games which year on year appear to be little more than a players update and a graphics tweak.

the facts still remains that ps3 is the most powerful console on the market today and its first party exclusives are second to none when it comes to beautiful graphics. what will happen next year around this time when we are looking at newer ps3 exclusives like screenshots of killzone 3, motorstorm 3, resistance 3, and other games only for the ps3? will people of other consoles still hold on to faith that their exclusives and multiplatform games will look better or will they finally accept the truth which is that ps3 is the most powerful consoles and if optimized a lot for the hardware , ps3 exclusives are second to none. how will developers feel next year when the ps3 exclusives go up another level when it comes to graphics and game technology, will third party devs feel good about their multiplatform games and will they continue to make ps3 and xbox 360s multifplatform games equal to the xbox 360s version or will they optimize the ps3 version. a lot of people will begin to realize that multiplatform games are average games with average technology and will want to get a ps3 and get its superior games or a lot of people will want to skip out on getting ps3 multiplatform games and just buy ps3 exclusives.

I play COD4 still and only did perstige once.. its fun to play and i have a great time.. i play with my buddies on my friend's list and while chatting it makes the game so much better.. graphics are pretty awsome for multiplat and i can't see any lag when i play.. sure the host leaves and its a bit annoying but it works.. and with 18 it does not seem like a lot but 9 vs 9 on those maps is pretty busy.. cause they are designed for the size.. IW did an awsome job and i will be picking this one up.. but when all you can do is complain and compare everything to the PS3, KZ2.. (both are great) but they are not the same thing.. so quit being little babies and don't play the game if you don't like it.. and both of you seemed to buy it, so SELL IT AND GET KZ2 if you aren't happy..

IW always deliver. They are the best FPS developer anyways. Graphics is not as good as KZ2 but that is expected.

Killzone 2 doesn't even come close to crysis even on Medium settings and Believe me my comp is powerful enough to play it at Max settings with AA and Antistropic filtering all the way up and the res at 1600X1200 at at least 50 FPS and still while it's the best looking game on the market it's nothing mind blowing as for killzone 2 videos and screenshots are misleading it has bland textures and poor bump mapping as for Uncharted 2 that game isn't even out yet and you Sony fanboys already say it looks better this even though you only saw a screenshot and no video gameplay footage I have no doubt in my mind that this game will smoke Uncharted 2 considering COD4 did that to the first Uncharted 1 already

Well between MW2 and halo ODST coming out in the fall. I can see Sony having a hard time selling uncharted. They will have to push the release date back.

It looks good. Well You can't possibly expect it to look as good as Gears of War.

I know the COD franchise has never been a ground breaker in the graphics department, but I just hope they get rid of those god awful backgrounds and textures they used in COD4. COD4 was a step back for the COD franchise in terms of graphics. Makes you kinda wish they kept the franchise PC exclusive.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
