is crackdown2 on its way? or is MS trying to milk the last few dollars out of crackdown?

I know a lot of people bought it solely for the Halo 3 aspect, but that's sad because the game was really fun. It had the best aspects of GTA IV (driving, shooting, free-roaming sandbox gameplay), but mixed it up with a healthy dose of super-human powers and free-climbing awesomeness.

I no longer wondered "Hrm, I'm not sure I can get up on that building". Now it's "Oh, I just need to go kill some more badguys, and that rooftop will be mine in no time".

They would make Crackdown 2 and promote the hell out of it. I still play Crackdown. Its just pure fun. You dont even have to do any of the missions. You could just go through the city and collect orbs and cause damage. Once you unlock the different parts of the city, take it online with a friend, its even better.

While most things from the Major are nice to have knowledge of, this is hardly news, the game is nearly 2 years old. While most likely this is all Major Nelson can legally talk about before E3 come on you can do better than this.

I was about to make some snarky comment about Crackdown being an old game and all, but the theme actually looks pretty sweet.

If MS has a great E3 showing, I just may buy another 360 (since I sold mine when I needed cash)...

they are working on crackdown 2.5 but by different game company I'ts not by realtime worlds this time

Is actually working on APB(All Points Bulletin) for PC right now. It actually shares a lot in common with Crackdowns' design and concepts and is their attempt at making an MMO in the vein of Crackdown and GTA where the police force and gangs are in a constant struggle in a huge city. The gameplay sounds awesome if it actually comes to fruition. Originally it was planned to come out for PC and 360, but is now slated to appear this year for PC with plans for release later on 360 and PS3.

"Premium" themes are stupid, to be honest.

$3 for a theme? C'mon.

As for a possible Crackdown 2 game, that sure would be cool, but APB sounds like it would be an evolution of what was already established in Crackdown. Anywho, I hope the links help.

I hope this means some more 'skills for kills' might be announced at E3, this is in my opinion, Microsoft's best new franchise since the birth of the 360 and something like what would of been back on the XBOX when Microsoft actually had GOOD exclusive published games and franchises before they sacked most of their studios.
I'd be actually tempted to buy this theme, I have a few points lying around. I've completed this game twice, going on 3 times now, just for kicks.
