Agreed. I thought the same, lighthearted jokes about there own previous installment and the peripherals on the wii. Man people sure can exaggerate a joke. U could almost make that peripheral joke for nintendo on every console they have made. Especially the NES.

You've got to admit: Nintendo changed the ocean they swim in. Good for them selling overclocked Gamecubes for a higher price to morons, good to see they sell the most shiatware in large piles, but for gamers its a turndown.

You've got to admit, that they left the ocean they were in together with MS and Sony. The ocean that turned red because those 3 sharks were biting each other because of the competition. So they decided to leave and go for a new blue ocean, without enemies that bite them, easy (dumb) fish to eat (the nongamer). Sony and MS stayed in the red ocean, but as I allways say: competition is a good thing it brings the consumer the best stuff and low prices. While that is actually whats happening to the 360 & PS3 audience, the Wii audience gets a big Nintendo d!ck in the ass with remaining high prices on last gen hardware (no threats from competition, remember?) and bad software to play.

Thats pretty much undeniable.

sad how you think of the great games that come out for the system are not worth playing.
Just because the Wii sales to a huge demographic doesn't mean there are not gems on the system.

Spot on comment m8. It seems as though most of the users on here have never heard of a little 'tongue-in-cheek'. Why the hell does most news have to be some kind of attack on something or another?

All their doing here is poking a little fun into the fact that previous games have all been party games, and that its time for something different. Its supposed to be funny, not hypocritical.

No it is a little hearted joke but it is odd how they made their money that way then joke about party games.

They are also making fun of themselves not just the Wii. I thought it was funny. Now, how come there is no actual "Rayman" game?

Yeah , while I get that and the humour is fine I'm just concerned that I'll have to see the damn Rabbids again and not get a real Ray Man game.

I have small kids and , to me, Rabbids are synonymous with some of the most unbearable moments of my adult gaming life. One dig at themselves goes nowhere near far enough for me to chuckle along or forgive their earlier crimes!
