Sequels Should Be Banned

C.Rossi of Gamer Limit Writes: "That's right, it's not a misprint. I genuinely believe that the gaming world would be better off without sequels. I too love a good sequel.

Without sequels, no KOTOR II, Gears 2, KZ2, MGS 2-4 (and Portable Ops), no more GTA games.

Great article. It would be sad to see a lot of sequels go, but we'd most likely get more original games. Imagine if instead of Ninja Gaiden 2 we got a re-worked Ninja game with Ayane. It would have felt more fresh.

Def. agree. I don't know about you guys but back in the day I remember being glad that Crash Bandicoot 2, Twisted Metal 2, Resident Evil 2 & Tekken 2 were released to name a few. H*ll even 2xtreme was better than the first. That was so long ago haha.

Some new IP's need to go then.
