Japanese culture is sometimes weird and sick,how can they find this crap socially acceptable? They hate videogames with blood etc. . .they they in general,have sick twisted levels of acceptance of anime and games.it p1sses me off,I mean ,They hate blood in games,so its removed, but find it ok playing games where you rape,or watch anime where people get raped, kids get raped. As long as the fantasy stays a fantasy I don't see any problem. We can't, nor would it be possible to, forbid certain fantasies. Knowing what fantasies that should stay a fantasy and which you can actualize is what differs a normal healthy person from one who needs help. Just like a murderer a rapist is a person who has severe issues not being able to understand what fantasies are accepted in the real world. The good news is that far from many peoples have this issue.

Also many of you argue against this game much like good old Jack Thompson would argue against an FPS or any other violent game involving killing, which to me is a worse crime would it happen in real life. A saying comes to mind, a saying involving stones and a glasshouse.

Ok really, every one here choose a side and stick to it, either A: you believe video games are harmless and no matter how many people you frag on call of duty or how many hookers you mow down in a car in GTA it won't lead to you doing it in real life. Or B:Games are evil and cause people to be bad and do what they do in the games. If A: then this games is no big deal they are not real people getting hurt they are merely interactive pictures. Or B: You join Jack Thompson and work to ban them. I personally wouldn't play this game cause it doesn't interest me but i also would never say how dare you if you did cause that would make me a hippocrate which I am not. That sounds awesome. I've been waiting for a game like this. Unfortunately, I'm not a PC gamer. I hope its rated T and not M because I'm only 12 and my mom might have a problem with me buying this one.

Simple facts, are simple facts. Calling Japan sick, wrong or w/e has no grounds. Their culture is completely different than ours. This is like pre-arranged marriages. Or better yet, marrying someone far, far younger than yourself(like a 30 year old getting to marry a 12 year old). To most of us, this is sick. Hell most of us when faced with this sort of FACT, can't even begin to speak how we feel except for here on a forum that doesn't matter. To us its bad, to the many nations who still use this old lifestyle, it's the only way of life. You can't really think calling another nation out for not doing what you want them to do is right. If you are that person way to go Hitler. Way to go Stalin, way to go. Now if this had been done in say the United States I'm sure there would be some sort of legal backlash thrown out there. Like when these cults make their own little community and break the law repeatedly inside America, then yea do something. But Japan isn't America(although some of you may not know this), and they aren't subject to our laws and way of life.

It's fine to say you disagree, hell I disagree with most of you when you say rape is the worst thing that can happen. I don't condone the content of this game, but i would rather people did this sort of thing (gaining power through violence or sex) in gaming/porn/fantasies rather than in real life. I also think it is relevant to remind people that a few years ago a NY policeman defended GTA for the same reason. Finally I think it is extremely ironic that people are so racist about the Japanese people when a) it is one of the safest nations on earth, b) the same racist people are discussing the importance of "values" and c) this is a gaming site and a large percentage of gaming material (including the birth of the home console) comes from the "sick" nation of Japan.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
