shame
is it at least optional or another crappy example if "you can choose difficulty, but fuck you we will change it because we decided you weren't oing good enough

It all has a baseline and a cap per difficultly (Casual is 0-2 Normal is 3-7) and the better you do the harder it gets within those modifiers, excluding Insanity which is locked at the highest scaling of 9.

Capcom has a history of this, Resident Evil 3 Remake had it tied to the perfect dodges, Godhand had it tied to your combo meter.

None of the difficulties get easier, they only scale harder if you are beating it easily. Inferno in RE3R is proof enough that Capcom doesn't mind going absolutely insane with the challenges still.

I mean I like the idea that if you are breezing through the game, it'll adjust within set parameters. Gives you a bit of a challenge at least.

AFAIK Standard - Classic, is just 'Normal' difficulty, but using Ink Ribbons.
Would have been nice to choose Hardcore/Insanity difficulty from the start, which is how I like to play my Survival Horror games. A lot of the difficulty, when selecting Insanity difficulty for a 2nd playthrough, is negated, as you are already familiar with the levels, enemies etc.

every Resident Evil game always has a Nightmare mode or whatever that you unlock after your first playthrough. Nothing new here.

Well deserved. I look forward to future content for the game.

Recently finished it and it's well deserved.

Now imagine the backlash if this was a Sony game.

Street Fighter IV revitalized both the fighting genre and Capcom as a whole. They haven't let off the gas since. And that RE engine really turned it up. It's like everything they release now outpaces themselves. Still can't believe they're bringing back Onimusha. Top 3 games I'm looking forward to this year.

The game has been properly cracked by voices38, no Hypervisor bypass shit. It actually runs better without Denuvo. From Tom's Hardware: "Denuvo properly cracked in Resident Evil: Requiem, bypasses become plug-and-play — cracked version runs faster, smoother, and uses way less VRAM and RAM" https://www.tomshardware.co... I personally don't give a shit about RE anymore, same crap every year it seems, but I got to give to voices 38 good job.🙌

More like the village idiot.

No one knows what the hell you’re talking about, using all those geek terms.

If Mercenaries is really coming back, that’s a huge win. It’s always been one of the most replayable modes in the series, especially in games like Resident Evil 4 and 5. Hopefully they modernize it a bit with online co-op or leaderboards, but keep the fast-paced arcade feel. Would be a great way to add longevity beyond the main story.
