Code Vein 2 is the latest JRPG to embrace the UE5 engine, including Lumen, Virtual Shadows, and TSR. Like Silent Hill f, the game tones down Lumen GI quality to preserve performance, while completely omitting the Nanite engine. Furthermore, the shadows seem to lack SMRT (Shadow Map Ray Tracing) as well.
