I swear if the Single player does not release in 2026 ... and delayed again i'll be very mad at MR robert and his yacht!

jznrpg61d ago

You would be mad now after all of these years? I doubt it comes out this year but sure it’s possible

MDTunkown60d ago

When that game was announced and its fundraise, I was still in school and my friend wasted all the money he received for his birthday on that game and he was telling me how he believe that the game would be the best thing ever. He is now married and has his own kids and the game release is nowhere to be found.

thorstein60d ago (Edited 60d ago )

I love that NMS was released after this game was announced and I can make any Scam Citizen ship for free in game.

Yes for free. I bought NMS in 2016 for the PS4. Hello Games insisted on giving all of us the PSVR, PS5, and PSVR2 versions for free. Along with all the free updates.

This scam? Pay, pay, pay.

peppeaccardo60d ago

They are going to use the whole greek alphabet before releasing this thing ! ... u'll see !

rokos60d ago

They might delay it especially if they are planning to release the game for next holiday season since during that time GTA 6 is coming out and they can't fight that.

Roberts and fam have enjoyed a high-end lifestyle thanks to this feature-creep-riddled project, and that's the scam. Here's to 13 more years. Cheers!

It’s like donating to a political party, lots of promises and well…crappy results.

boing160d ago

Not so sure if what is available now is a truly 'crappy' result. They are clearly building something that has never been done before, or at least not at this scale and persistance.

Knightofelemia61d ago

13 years of sucking money from suckers most likely another 13 years of sucking more money from suckers.

blacktiger60d ago

At this point I can confirm this is illuminati news, just distraction

I'm jealous of the people that can afford to play this game.

SimulationDaily15d ago (Edited 15d ago )

You can't afford $55?

thorstein15d ago

"Full disclosure: the author of this article has backed Star Citizen’s crowdfunding campaign."

SimulationDaily15d ago (Edited 15d ago )

...and as such, he knows better than you, who have never touched the game and can only rage about things you don't know. 😌

thorstein15d ago

So anyone critical of your site and it's blatant promotion of the game hasn't played the game? Yeah, okay, Abrael.

I didn't back it 14 years ago and I'm glad. That doesn't mean I haven't taken it for a spin.

SimulationDaily14d ago (Edited 14d ago )

Sure you have dude. Sure you have.

If you did, you'd know that there's a reason (actually many reasons) why people who actually play it regularly keep supporting it more every year, and more and more join.

And it isn't that they're all crazy and you somehow know better. 😏

Incidentally. "My site" reports on games. Star Citizen is a game. So we report about it fairly, like we do with other games. The fact that you don't like it is completely irrelevant (and also hilarious).

But hey, keep chewing on bile every time there's news about the game if that makes you happy. May as well get used to it. We're not gonna stop regardless of how much you cry, and the game certainly isn't going to disappear.

fr0sty14d ago

These people are so gullible.

TheCaptainKuchiki14d ago

Can we stop calling it crowdfunding???? "Crowdfunding" is only valid when there's no product available for purchase.
Since popel are now able to buy a PRODUCT, it's simply called REVENUE. It's not an unreleased product anymore and hasn't been many years.

Darkseeker14d ago

All the people falling for this scam that will never be released.

It's beginning to look a lot like Griftmas.

Imagine buying in to this in your 20s and then, as you near, 40 years of age, there is still no difinitive release date for a finished game.

Sircolby4528d ago

Even at its worst, Star Citizen is already better than the overwhelming majority of games at their best. That goes especially for the steaming pile of shit the AAA devs are turning out these days. It's ironic that people will call this game a grift and then turn around and buy the latest Call of Duty clone.

thorstein28d ago

It's not ironic because I call this game a grift and I didn't buy CoD.

I spent 2025 buying and playing incredible indie games.
