Played it yesterday, its 100% not for me thats for sure, so you have your character, you choose a place to enter then walk around a very empty world, looting scrap....the only only other person (who found me) downed me while i was looting scrap..so i go another mission....empty, i think i shot down a drone, thats the only enemy i saw, and i saw one other player...who i dont know how legged it though i saw him go in a bunker and i followed him ,no way out and..gone...you can hear gun fire etc...so essentially you will be paranoid, get a bit of scrap and sneak around an empty world...hoping to bring the scrap back....if that sounds like a good time to you then, this is the game for you.

Good. Maybe this and BF6 will make Call of Duty developers do better and make the franchise great again.

COD will still and always be massive though. Like Madden. Everyone hates it, and the hate is warranted, but then everyone still plays it.

Cod players don't use steam.

Is it just me or is it weird how people have become obsessed with Steam player count as the be all, end all statistic?

I like games like this, I’m kind of tired of the same old tdm and people camping the same area where you respond. Currently my problem with BF6 tdm.. I do enjoy playing conquest or rush though with some friends.
But mission based extraction shooters are more my cup of tea.
It’s more team oriented and no respawning.

I haven’t played the demo but watched some people stream it and it looks great. I’m not much into Battle Royals either. I like slower paced but the same amount of intensity. That’s why I enjoyed COD’s DMZ over Warzone. I know many people who felt the same. They dropped the ball with not updating it.. My hope is that the rumors are true for the 2026 Call of Duty Modern Warfare to have a release of DMZ 2.0.
They can turn it around a little bit if they listen to gamers. We don’t want Nikki Minaj skins or stupid stuff. Have a realistic mission oriented approach and plan to extract without being killed by other squads. It was so much fun.

Every new shooter that comes out says the same exact thing, only to die off weeks or months later.
You let me know how AR is doing a year from now before I take any stock in the claim.
