This could be interesting because it’s not like ER had a story that could be messed up by Hollywood. Basically they can take it any direction they choose.

They need to keep it within the Universe, add to the lore, keep it consistent and not have the director / writer go "I'm going to do my own take and set it in my own Universe where I change almost everything"

It's possible, you'd have to pick and choose a lot and stick to the main story to fit such a big game it into a 2 hour or less movie. Plus, it'll probably be expensive because of all the monsters that would have to be CGI, I'd be into a movie with the Elden Ring aesthetics as long as it's mostly true to the game's plot/lore.

Hollywood is so washed. It’s either a remake/reboot or a sequel. Then whenever a game does well sales wise they just say let’s make it into a movie! Smfh.
