The First Berserker: Khazan is one of a very small handful of Soulslike games that offers players different difficulty options.

Nexon subsidiary Neople has reassigned a large number of its production staff for the AAA action-adventure game 'First Berserker: Kazan,' which was ambitiously unveiled last March, due to poor performance.
Shame, it’s a fun game and it looks great, I feel a Khazan 2 would’ve hit the right notes.

Khazan borrows heavily from Team Ninja's work, both for good and bad (but mostly good).
overlong runtime? Its an average runtime for this type of game...All the Dark Souls games, Bloodborne, Nioh..all have around similar runtimes.. between 30-60 hours... Khazan is about 35-40..so what are you talking about.. 😒

"The First Berserker: Khazan features some tight combat and an interesting presentation, but is hit hard by a botched main story and repetitive content."

I’ll say the difficulty of this game ruined my enjoyment. I think they had something here, but it was way too frustrating for me to have much fun with. I also got tired of the environments. Things started to look sort of the same.
I do think boss designs were cool, but man, playing the final boss for hours upon hours until I barely got through did not leave me satisfied with the experience. If anything, it made me less inclined to replay it.
Great game but the boss fights are just too long and you dont have a lot of margin for error, so you have to be on point for ages, got burn out on this one at chaos, and i heard it gets worse
