They need to fix the console versions as well

YourMommySpoils617d ago

The game is way buggy on everything. They need quite a bit to address.

I haven't had any glaring issues, and it seems like a weird campaign against this game for some reason. It's no more buggy then any other game is aT launch. At least on pc.

YourMommySpoils616d ago

You mean just as buggy as any other Ubi AC game you played.

mkis007616d ago

No, games in general...It's not at either end of the buggy spectrum. The worst bug right now is a memory leak that causes textures to not load in properly after 4-5 hours of playing.

This is a good game and it's really enjoyable, but ubisoft needs to aim better than just good. Open world genre titles have to be in depth, many interactions, detailed interiors, secrets, great lore etc hopefully next year there will be a title that delivers that. Ubisoft holds back so much it's ridiculous and they never take feedback from fans smh they just go on with the usual bullshhi, this game is an 8 to me and could have been much higher but we all know how ubi does things 🤦🏾

Still can't hyperjump to Kijimi. Fast Travel is the workaround, but if you have an active contract requiring you to go there and it has Fast Travel locked, then you'll never be able to complete it.

Can’t have any issues if you don’t buy Ubisoft slop.

I was also surprised when I played it. It's a good game. Maybe if I tried playing it on PS5 before, I would have liked it too. Because of the reviews, I didn't play it before. Now that I've played it on Switch 2, I'm excited for the sequel if there is one.

CrimsonWing69143d ago

That’s the thing that killed me. I thought the game was good, but because of all the controversy around the main character’s design and some rabid Ubisoft hate, this game got a bum rap.

Played the demo yesterday and was massively impressed by the way it looks and runs. However the demo gives you 2 hours to play but I came away confused at whether I actually did or learnt anything within that 2 hours. I just didn’t understand the point of any of it.

It's a very good game. And it's even better with the latest update.

PRIMORDUS191d ago (Edited 191d ago )

If not physical you can keep it Ubishit. I haven't bought one Switch 2 game yet, mostly everything is keycard bullshit. At least Metroid Prime 4 will have a physical copy, but for me eBay only for a cheaper price.

repsahj191d ago

Same as digital distribution when it came out. Initial resistance then adopting gradually.

PRIMORDUS190d ago

Once every console goes all digital I'm done. There is no point for me to give money for digital crap only to be taken away at anytime. I will torrent games on PC and delete them once I'm done, as I don't care about digital there is no value in keeping digital games.
