Star Wars Outlaws Lands Another Update On Switch 2

Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft's excellent open world adventure, has received another update on the Switch 2.

This isn't a huge one, but it contains further improvements to the overall visuals, including upping the quality of the textures – yum. We've also got some of that all-important Stability™ alongside some more general fixes to the game's story and UI.

Be warned, Ubisoft does mention that these patch notes may contain spoilers, so keep that in mind if you've still yet to experience Outlaws.

Many of the assets are high-res now and were also improved. Like the rocks from the earlier build, it is missing some details compared to console versions but is now comparable to them.

They even made the game to be around the same size it was as launch.

I was also surprised when I played it. It's a good game. Maybe if I tried playing it on PS5 before, I would have liked it too. Because of the reviews, I didn't play it before. Now that I've played it on Switch 2, I'm excited for the sequel if there is one.

That’s the thing that killed me. I thought the game was good, but because of all the controversy around the main character’s design and some rabid Ubisoft hate, this game got a bum rap.

Played the demo yesterday and was massively impressed by the way it looks and runs. However the demo gives you 2 hours to play but I came away confused at whether I actually did or learnt anything within that 2 hours. I just didn’t understand the point of any of it.

It's a very good game. And it's even better with the latest update.

If not physical you can keep it Ubishit. I haven't bought one Switch 2 game yet, mostly everything is keycard bullshit. At least Metroid Prime 4 will have a physical copy, but for me eBay only for a cheaper price.

Same as digital distribution when it came out. Initial resistance then adopting gradually.

Once every console goes all digital I'm done. There is no point for me to give money for digital crap only to be taken away at anytime. I will torrent games on PC and delete them once I'm done, as I don't care about digital there is no value in keeping digital games.
