"I've been toying with Windows 7 for a few days now. I'm not ready yet to talk about it in detail yet, but I can say that it's better than Vista SP1. Of course, saying 7 is better than Vista isn't saying much. However, I recently read a Network World column, which claims that Windows 7 will crush Linux. Yeah, and the Detroit Lions are going to win the Super Bowl this year. "

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
First of all, how the hell does this moron say:
"Yeah and Detroit Lions are going to win the Super Bowl this year"
When they didn't get to the playoffs let alone win one game? Dumbass, he should of speculated for next year. Second, in my opinion, Linux is a drag. The simple fact that you can't double click and get an install going is already putting me off Linux forever. Not to mention, no one is really behind it to advertise it or sell it out on the market like Windows so It's will never get a significant piece of the OS pie. Windows, Mac, and soon to be Android for PC.
So he counters what he claims is a huge exaggeration with an even grander exaggeration.
I love it when we all use logic.
LOL, try agine
LOL
Its a good and free alternative for ppl who want to get everything out of their PC. Its most definetly not a system for hardcore pc gamers, but for those looking a OS that fits their daily needs like surfing the web, reading news, daily office needs and ofcourse listening/watching/browsing their media linux is a great alternative.
Hopefully tough, these recent stumblings of Microsoft with their software open up new oportunities for both MAC and Linux to get a chance to build up their slices on the OS market. Competition is great thing, and it makes even microsoft to get things done isntead of abusing their monopoly in different ways like they have done in past few years.
Linux is a great open Operating system which has its cons too, but most of them are related to lack of support of 3rd party software and hardware manufacturers.
Personaly, after using Ubuntu I doubt ill be full Windows user ever again.
