I've been waiting for a darker superhero-esqe game and I really believe this is it.

- Ability to do a emperor style constant stream
- Ability to do something other than zap people, maybe telekenesis? With his electicly altered mind?
- Really detailed videos on how manipulative the enviornment really is with the electricity. That alone could provide hours of fun if you can line up people with light poles or something. They have covered this verbally, but I think they really need to show another level of depth.

I see the Light Grenades/Super Light Fall/Zap. I remember him mentioning flight?(anyone else, perhaps I was high)

I don't know, anything to break up the walk zap zap zap, walk zap. They have been saying there is going to be more in the game, but so far. Zap zap zap.

The free running looks perfect though. Looks far more natural than uhm Assassins creed, and I am very very very impressed by that. Your hands/feet are always accurately placed on whatever objects you touch.

The graphics are pretty amazing too for a game of this size, and thats not the general Sandbox rules of restriction. Parts of this game is looking like it could just be a Third Person Shooter. These videos have revealed a good level of post processing/motion blur/shader detail which Im sure looks a bit more crisp in a better resolution, but its there.

I really think the addition of guns would have been nice, or at least some sort of device to supress your electricity for a short while so you could soften up targets with different methods of play. The only t hing that makes me think this is because they are selling it as a sandbox game, even though maybe not intentionally? And usually Sandboxing does require a bit more of a wider skillset.

I think the game will sell real well,get very good to great reviews,and be quite fun for most gamers....

I would like to see more on it,game depth wise,story and overall scope.

I do not think it will be a game that will be regarded as highly as the GOW3's and Resident evil 5's and Killzones 2's of the gaming World,but still be a real good seller and quite a bit of fun for most gamers...

I will give it a try for sure.But have to admit I still wish it was a new PS3 version of Sly.But thats just me and my love for quirky stylish platformers....

Would of been cool if they made him a elemental wrecking machine. Fire, ice, wind, water, ect.. = Sweetness. But the game looks fun as it is already. Cant wait till this drops

... I think it looks much more like Crackdown then The Force Unleashed. Cell Shading, Open World, Superpowered hero, Pedigree devs..... Would have been a much better comparison.

i still dont get why ppl are so psyched about this game yes you can do alot of electrical moves and jump around, but to each his own as for me nah

every time I watch the new videos it just feels like they are hiding alot from the game like all coles heavier electric move's and alot more.. plus i look back at the later videos and cole is fighting some big @ss robot looking thing that looks so epic.. so i think they are hiding a chunck of information from us...

Doesnt look a good as Crackdown... Think this game is a possible miss im afraid.

This is actually quite a lot tamer than i first thought and the pace is a little plodding after watching a heap of Prototype vids

It wont be cr&p but it lacks wow for now

a few key things that need to be noted about it, and why it's so anticipated:

1) It's being developed by Sucker Punch. They are the folks that brought us the excellent Sly Cooper series. You can probably expect likable characters, spot on controls, a nice dose of humor (even with the dark setting in inFamous), and at the LEAST, a good time.

2) EVERYTHING that has been show of Cole's powers in inFamous so far has been stated as being his LEVEL ONE powers. They want to keep a lot of things under wraps, so they can surprise the gamer. As the game progresses, Cole's powers evolve to more and more powerful forms.

3) There may actually be a multi-player component to be revealed soon, and definitely before the games release. Sucker Punch has been coy when asked about multi-player, and simply responds, "we aren't talking about those things yet, but more will be revealed). If there is ANY kind of co-op, with a varied power pool set for you and your friends to choose from, then I'm there, end of story.

and those are really only the key things i can think of. most people already know that you can be good or bad, and you can suck the electric energy from enemies and civilians alike. you restore power by draining energy from your surroundings (ie, power lines), and Cole can "fly"/hover, using his electricity.

for me, being a Sucker Punch game alone qualified inFamous as a "one to watch" title. and that's good enough for me. i think it's looking GREAT, and can't wait to get my hands on it this summer.

there better be more variety in attacks than just lightning, otherwise it will get boring real fast

I would create Prototype 3 before this great gem of a game
but yes love to see it continue !

A new Infamous being produced in this current agenda stricken videogame climate would probably just be a disaster.
