Yeah no most have actually said it’s one the better feeling headset. To me it’s super light which feels cheap but super comfortable

EverydayJoe996d ago

I usually wear mine for 2 to 3 hour stretches with zero problems.

Army_of_Darkness996d ago

Oh my God how weak and fragile is this guy? I didn't have any issues with the original psvr playing for 2 to 3 hours straight and that was heavier

Angyobangyo995d ago

@Army_of_Darkness, so that's your counter? Someone who isn't as physical as you is fragile. It is almost like people are built differently...crazy right! Comfortable for you and not for some, that's it!

1nsomniac996d ago (Edited 996d ago )

The truth is, It does feel cheap and it does get uncomfortable but it’s still the best headset I’ve owned - (ignoring the massive bombshell that it can’t play VR porn)

Pocahontas996d ago

I find it the most comfortable for long sessions but every single one gets uncomfortable.

1Victor996d ago

Silly monsters PSVR2 is for humans 🤦🏿

Vanfernal996d ago

I think it's impossible to make a headset that is universally comfortable for everyone's anatomy. I've had the PSVR, Quest 2 and PSVR2 and I find the PSVR2 is about as comfortable as the PSVR1 with really good balance. The Quest 2 starts feeling very heavy for me after a long session. It sucks that some people are having issues with this.

Babadook7996d ago

Agreed. My friend is a Valve Index owner (and now a PSVR2 owner). When I asked him for his comparison his main difference is that PSVR2 is significantly more comfortable.

PadrePio996d ago

After market straps for the quest 2 really help. The included one is a joke.

Have no problems with mine, its light comfortable.

Abnor_Mal996d ago

For me PSVR2 is not heavy at all, and I do not get the pressure on my nose bridge like with the Quest2.

I believe Sony got the balance perfect with this headset compared to the first which again did not put pressure on my nose bridge but did have a lot of pressure on the back of my head.

Off topic question: Has anyone used the adaptor to play PSVR on PS5, if so how is it, is there any obvious benefits of any kind? I hate seeing my old headset just sitting now being neglected. I hope more of these PSVR games get PS5/PSVR2 updates.

Solitariussaint996d ago

Yes I use the adaptor to play PSVR1 on PS5. It works well, just plug in and play.

I like having both headsets hooked up at the same time, it's kind of mind blowing how stacked with games and VR games PS5 is when both VR HMDs are hooked up like that.

Abnor_Mal996d ago

Okay thanks for the information, I will be placing an order for the adaptor soon.

I just wish like I said previously, that more PSVR games get an update for PSVR2 because the moves are not good to use in a shooter type game and just feels awkward at times.

jznrpg996d ago (Edited 996d ago )

@Abnor_mal It took less than a week to get mine but that was at the beginning of when they offered the adapter.

Reply/ oic I didn’t even know there was one hehe. It was free from Sony and fast so that’s the route I went

Abnor_Mal996d ago

@Soltstiussaint, jznrpg, DigitallyAfflicted was thinking of just getting a third party one off of Amazon instead of Sony. Not sure there’s a difference or not.

ravens52995d ago

The Sony one is free. All you do is send in the serial code for your PSVR . I saw this at the beginning of this gen but I never ordered mine. Maybe I will just to have it, but I doubt I'll go back and use it since I have Psvr2.

DigitallyAfflicted996d ago

Yes I did, it was just like using psvr1 with ps4 pro. Nothing more nothing less.

Abnor_Mal996d ago (Edited 996d ago )

What about games like Mortal Blitz, The Persistsnce, Farpoint, Bravo Team, Blood and Truth and I forget the Zombie game I use to play. I know not all games will get an upgrade to be playable on PSVR2 but these are some thst I hope to see make its way during the generation.

My bad comment was suppose to be for @Nitrox

Nitrox996d ago

The adapter works fine. Game compatibility is horrible though. Many games I love and replay occasionally from vr1 are not supported (rush of blood, RIGS, dino frontier)

Can’t wait, especially now that I’ve learned that Ace Combat8 will not have any kind of vr component.

Wasn’t really keeping up with Aces because it was all multiplayer, I guess this will have to do
