Whenever Sony comes up with a good idea Microsoft always have to come up with something to, it goes on and on

elorm96341d ago

Just like the achievements eh? I wonder who copied that :|

JohnnyChimpo6341d ago

achievments vs. Trophies, oooh what a technology leap forward for gaming. pfft save it

Leathersoup6341d ago

Sony? Get over it. People have been attempting to get gaming working with 3D displays, shutter glasses, etc since 3d cards first hit PCs.
Don't try to make it seem like Sony's idea.

JohnnyChimpo6341d ago

I'm not saying it's Sony's idea, of course it's an old concept, think Virtual boy for Nintendo.

It's just quite funny how now that Sony made this annoucment in 2008, MS is right their to show this.

The PS3 will take a simple firmware update, your 360 would take a new console

El Zorro Rojo6341d ago

Microsoft didn't show this, Blitz' Games did this presentation. It was based on a game they have in development for the 360 and PS3. So please don't act like it was Microsoft just involved in some one-up-manship. This has been a goal for a long time and its silly to act like Sony invented this or is leading in this.

All it will take is one blockbuster game, and 3D gaming will be all the rage across all consoles.

bcooper566341d ago

It's on 360 if you read it it say's in interview

"Last month Blitz went to Hollywood to demo what it believes was a world-first – a game demo running in real 3D on a 3D TV, driven by an Xbox 360."

creeping judas6341d ago (Edited 6341d ago )

My comment didnt state which console it would be a hit on. I mainly stated that all it needs is one big hit (on any one of the 3 consoles) then it will become all the rage on all the others.

EDIT - I think you meant to reply to BigKev's post.

JohnnyChimpo6341d ago (Edited 6341d ago )

2.1 - nope
It's on 360 if you read it it say's in interview

lol what a geek, I think many people are forgetting this info

It ran/runs on the PS3, too. So, what.

If you read the article, there is no mention of Microsoft. The title is misleading, some fanboy is just trying to have fun.

creeping judas6341d ago

I think you need to go back and read the article.

im not fanboy i just got the title from techradar same article
