Ok fine let 343 continue to fumble at every step but at least let another studio give it a go. It literally can not be worse than the legacy of 343.

I’d like to see what ID software could do with the Halo universe. We can all agree it’s vast. ID doesn’t necessarily have to continue the story of master chief. It would be cool if they did spin offs or maybe tackle the campaign of Fumirole.

Did it occur to anyone that no one should make Halo games? at least for a while.

Hopefully the entire leadership team at 343 will be fired or replaced and they can figure out this game.

In my opinion every 6 months you need at least 4 new maps and fresh modes not just reiterations of Land Grab added.

We have also only had one classic map return in almost 1.5 years since the game launched.

Bring in Blood Gulch and others to bring back the older fans.

Also how the hell is Infection still not a main mode?

Forge is fun for ten minutes and then mundane.

Halo 4 couldn't play several split- screen couch co-op multiplayer maps without significant frame rate drop.
Halo 5 is a soulless abomination and will not be mentioned.
The Master Chief Collection didn't work for over a year. Halo Infinite drowns players in dopamine hits with its abhorrent bird chirp sound effects after every single solitary headshot in multiplayer mode.

343 I. just sits on the most intriguing part of Halo lore i.e. neural physics and star roads, instead of incorporating that stuff into their games.

Why does Microsoft keep treating one of their very few successful IP's like trash?

It's clear that the franchise has collapsed under 343. Why keep it there? At this point, outsource the next Halo.

At this point this could be considered bad or good imo I think bad due they have proven they can't develop halo right.

Damn right when I thought Hall franchise had a chance again.

I think Halo needs to miss a year and get back on track, everything Halo has ended badly in the last bit of History, the sub par game, the TV show, it needs to rethink what it is and deliver the next iteration flawlessly to stay relevant. More mediocre or bad content is killing the franchise.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
