Two years later, some big-studio tentpoles like Fable and Pragmata are still totally MIA

Capcom discusses the mechanics and visual design of its upcoming sci-fi adventure launching on PS5 April 17.

Andy Robinson: "Pragmata feels like something Shinji Mikami or Platinum Games would’ve made 15 years ago, with the blockbuster polish of modern RE Engine titles – and I mean in a very complimentary way."
Richard Bailey Jr. of The Koalition writes: After playing Pragmata for the first time at Summer Game Fest 2025, I was already sold on this promising new IP. With the release of Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom continues to deliver incredible, unforgettable experiences that fans, including myself, are always eager to dive into.
It’s no surprise games are taking longer to make. As long as it’s good I’ll wait people want things quickly them complaint when it’s all buggy.
I want to see what they do with Outer Worlds 2. I really enjoyed the first, but there was definite room for improvement.
A bigger budget and team this time around should see to that, I think.
That said, I'm dying to see gameplay for Avowed.
Pragmata is one of those Capcom games that is going to take a long time to see the light of day I feel. I know it’s scheduled for next year but Capcom is very tight lipped about it. Which suggests it’s further off than anticipated.
