No game will ever be “perfect”. I think with this game the sum is greater than its parts. It elevates a genre and series that typically gets 9’s. I don’t think a 10/10 or 100/100 is indicative of a perfect game, but rather a game that’s truly special and must be played or that defines a generation or genre.

There’s no denying that this game has set a standard for open world exploration. I have grown so tired of open world games and this gave me a sense of awe with exploration that I honestly hadn’t felt playing a game before.

Still a 100% rating, whether it's 10/10 or 100/100. I do agree though, it shouldn't quite be a perfect score because of the issues. However, the game is so incredibly engrossing. It's hard not to praise it for everything it gets right. Now if they could just fix that damn engine, or move to a new one... That would be incredible.

10 isn't perfect. No game will ever be perfect.

Elden Ring is as close as it's gonna get though. I don't see how any developer tops this one unless FS outdoes themselves with the sequel.

By the way, Isn't it amazing that the person playing in the video is an expert Elden Ring player? XD
